Everything points to one individual: Panlilio

    • I hope after this WC2023, Mr. Panlilio should vacate his SBP position to a person who knows the nitty gritty aspect of running a basketball program not just the corporate and marketing side of it which is really his forte and rather concentrate more as a FIBA Asia Vice Pres(?) because that's really his bread and butter.

This is kind of insane , really. its like it's a bad idea if it's coming from Tab, but a good idea when its coming from Vargas, brilliant.

Thanks for the reminder that Panlilio and Vargas are class-A morons.

Dunno whether to use class-A or class-S in this situation. Hahahahahaha.

On the lighter side…In Yu Yu Hakusho universe a class S are considered as the highest level(?) of all adversaries of the spirit world led by Yusuke Urameshi. ..c",)

Seriously, our basketball federation really needs to change after this WC2023, we’ve seen, read and heard many toxicity already so changing of guards is really inevitable, a fresh air for our beloved basketball landscape.

Actually, the "S" class still has various levels within it with the 3 Kings occupying the highest of levels. Just sayin'.

Yup the human eating descendant of Yusuke named Raizen is the most powerful of them but I think the remaining kings Mukuro and Yomi are already no match to Yusuke in terms of spiritual power because the dying Super Class S Raizen already given his remaining power to his son before perishing..correct me if I’m wrong on this.

                • I will honestly not be surprised if there will be no changes, as long as Gilas makes it to the World Cup.

                  • What kind of analysis is this, he cites Newsome and Slaughters as havig residency particularly in college years (Ateneo), yet only cited Brownlee as who they will try to get an exception and not Kouame, (this is so insane illogical)

It will come down to a choice between Jordan Clarkson and Justin Brownlee as Gilas’ naturalized player for the FIBA World Cup this year.

                    • Kouame arrived in the Philippines in October 2016, he was welcomed by a family with generations of Atenean blood in their veins including Gaby Veloso

So Ange is a permanent resident for 7 years like Brownlee, but unlike Brownlee does not go home to IVORY Coast in off season

Ange moved as teenager minior , is fatherless as his dad passed away when he was 12 , he cites he moved to Philippines to study and improve his future given his difficulty situation in IC. . As a minor he required parental supervision which was provided by families in Manila .

His basketball heritage developlent is purely the Philippines unlike Brownlee who's game was developed in the US .

Kouame acquired Passport for more than 2 years now, in his 20s , while Brownlee got his passport just recently

Let's just say that PLDT price went down by more than 50% from last year.

That is why he needs to relinquish his position at the SBP after this WC and concentrate more on his corporate duty because that's really his specialty, I think we;ve seen enough of his bandwagon..irs time to change guard

But is there anyone “better”? I worry he might be replaced by someone worse.

Ivory Coast to Philippines nationality switch for Kouame. Whilst fencer Maxine Esteban moved opposite direction from Philippines to Ivory Coast. Both are Ateneans. Coincidence?
