Yeah. With Ginebra, he had a wing rotation of 6'5" Jeremiah Gray, 6'5" Justin Brownlee, 6'7" Jamie Malonzo, and 6'3" Aljon Mariano, the latter three playing the 3 and the 4, and Gray playing 2/3. Cone has liked size in his frontline, and glad that's extended to the wings. Honestly, Ginebra with Brownlee has become the model lineup for Philippine basketball to adjust with the times.

Ironically, in the PBA, it's the most old-school coach adopting small ball as it is supposed to be. The players having the skills of smaller players, but enough size to switch onto bigger positions. And that came in handy for Ginebra against Bay Area. Had the height and versatility to match up against their taller forwards.

As for Chot naman, man. I get Dwight playing 4, as he has the strength to go up against fours, and we don't compromise mobility. But, he should consider playing Malonzo at 3, and playing Oftana at that spot as well to combat taller lineups. Can't have just JC, Dwight, and Parks at the 3.

Think he’s talking about Mason Amos, tbf Demisana is a decent rim protector, he’s long has good timing nice hands and good positioning, I’m just saying would he be as good against higher level competition like the u18 worlds where he’s going up against guys his size that’ll be faster and stronger than him. I watched some of his upis games and some of the fiba games. Demisana is talented but just my opinion don’t know if he’s a long term prospect.

Isn't Amos biggest weaknesses his lack of athleticism and defense? He carried a lot of our offense and was forced to play heavy minutes.

Joke didn't trust our bench enough, that's why Mason was gassed by the end of our FIBA Asia U18 stint. The rotation was too short.

And yeah, that's his biggest weakness, defense. Hope Tab can remedy that. If Carl Tamayo turned into a half-decent defender on switches, maybe Mason, who I think is more athletic, can do the same.

Mason?s dad said they (staff) made him guard Brownlee during the Gilas scrimmages. It?s a right step towards the right direction, but I?m pretty sure he got burned. Amos needs to shed off some fats and replace them with muscles. Tamayo did the same (although not yet on his optimum state) and reaped some benefits in the process. I think the same age, Amos is even more mobile and athletic. There?s some upside here.
Never look too far ahead. You might stumble on a block right in front of you.

Yeah he?s slow, it helps his defense that he?s big but he?s not really the best option as a rim protector.

Yeah, he looks 6'1"-6'2". I saw him in the UAAP Varsity Channel next to 6'2"-6'3" Sherwin Concepcion, and Schonny is shorter than Sherwin.

lmao I love how people pad this guy and other athlete's heights.

There was a time when Steph was always listed as 6'4. The guy is barely 6'2 or taller than George Hill.

or even better, there are people who seriously thought Quiambao was 6’8. He’s 6’5 at best.

                        • schonny is small, whoever taught him being 6'4 as always does believe in Tallano gold
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
                          1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

This article says that Bobby Mark Parks played for NU in elementary: https://www.spin.ph/life/people/bobb...a2442-20200928

Might be a sign of eligibility, but unlike Bobby Ray, Bobby Mark was born in Memphis. So, tough to determine eligibility.

"Bobby also revealed that he?s already secured a dual citizenship at age 11 and playing for the Philippine team is absolutely not impossible."

He might be implying about his PH passport.

This is also in the article.

Yeah. With luck, Tab can mold Mason into a competent defender in Ateneo.
