Jimmy Alapag is the best possible choice for SMC teams, If he decides to come back... But after that most of SMC stable coaches are not capable to handle Head coaching role.. Not sold on Bonnie Tan too... I think he will be Pido v.2 tactical immatured coaches... If they get some outsiders then Charles Tiu is also a logical choice....
Jimmy, Charles, Goldwin. Then maybe Napa as an assistant.
Napa is part of the NorthPort staff, so connected with the Superfriends. He does coach tough defense.
This is why I never bothered with the Jalen Green, Kai Sotto, and Jordan Clarkson news. Unless Tab or Nenad are coaching, pupulutin pa rin tayo sa kangkungan (we will still do badly).
0 effing interest in PH ball because of the monkeys running the show.
Bolick can play 2 guard as well... He's doing PG duties since Northport doesn't have reliever to him until Sumang came from Free agency... Another one is Paul Lee but this guy always can't be found in crucial games or often injures either foot or shoulder...
not to mention he is usually out of shape , but in fairness to lee, he took care of his weight the previous season

Paul Lee is a deadweight on defense. Among our 2-guard prospects for Gilas, Lee is the worst defender.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Bolick is a legit 6'1. The same height as Perez, Abueva, and just an inch shorter than our starting SF Pogoy and PFs like Arwind and the muscleman.
It's not ideal but he can play some if were really desperate

Since Bolick is a scoring point guard, I think he can play as a shooting guard at times.

6-foot-4 versions of Thirdy Ravena & CJ Perez, & 6-foot-5 versions of Jordan Heading & Rhenz Abando.
My dream small forwards:
6-foot-6 version of Dwight Ramos, 6-foot-7 versions of Calvin Oftana & Will Navarro & 6-foot-8 versions of Jamie Malonzo & Roosevelt Adams.

I know its still too early to tell but I think Justin Baltazar at 20 yrs old wasn't as good as Kai Balungay is right now. While I see Balty as taller than Balungay, the latter seems more athletic.
And that's a real asset, especially for a tweener forward. He has some perimeter skill at 6'7".
Hope SBP will try to push for his exemption early, even though that might carry with it the risk of being eligible for the B.League.
The Philippines is in Group C of the 2022 edition of #FIBAU18Asia, alongside Chinese-Taipei, Syria, and Qatar.
Schedule of matches: (PST)
August 21 vs Syria 715pm
August 22 vs Qatar 715pm
August 23 vs Chinese-Taipei 5pm
Of the 3, I see Taiwan as the one that could put a good challenge on our team

6'8" version of Calvin Abueva would have been a real beast
6-foot-5 Abueva would already be a real beast in Asian basketball.
