3 players being eyed for the pool of Naturalized players according to Quinito Henson
https://www.philstar.com/sports/2022...zed-candidates
Three players were listed in Gilas’ pool but two were recently signed by NBA teams, raising doubts on their availability. First is 6-10, 248-pound Micah Potter of Ohio State and the University of Wisconsin. Second is 6-10, 257-pound Noah Vonleh of Indiana University. Third is 6-10, 231-pound D. J. Wilson of the University of Michigan. Wilson, 26, was inked to a contract by the Toronto Raptors last July 8 while Vonleh came to terms on a one-year agreement with the Boston Celtics last Aug. 2. If Wilson and Vonleh are cut before the NBA season opens, they could be available for Gilas.
Potter, 24, played three games on a 10-day contract with the Detroit Pistons last season. As a Wisconsin senior in 2020-21, he averaged 12.5 points and 5.9 rebounds in 31 games, including 20 starts. His four-year collegiate career stats included 7.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 49.6 field goal percentage, 38.1 three-point percentage and 79.4 free throw percentage.
Vonleh, 26, was a one-and-done standout at Indiana and played in seven NBA seasons with Charlotte, Portland, Chicago, New York, Minnesota, Denver and Brooklyn. He averaged 4.9 points and 5.1 rebounds, shooting 45.9 percent from the field, 30.8 percent from three and 69.1 percent from the line in 339 games, including 171 starts. Vonleh was Charlotte’s first round draft pick in 2014. Wilson, 26, wore the Michigan colors in 69 games, including 36 starts, over three years then suited up for Milwaukee, Houston and Toronto in five NBA seasons. He was the Bucks’ first round draft choice in 2017.

SBP again showing how out of touch they are.

I only hope Vonleh and Wilson are good defenders and can anchor the defense. Potter's known more for being a stretch big.

Everything that SBP people should be saying must be taken with a grain of salt. That is why that news that Choke Reyes tried to resign but SBP restrained him from resigning most likely isn't true. One must be too ignorant or dumb to believe it.
I say Al Panlilio & other SBP people no longer have any credibility.

If only the mindset of those old dudes from SBP are in a right places, they could consider Malik Diouf as one of the candidates as well..barely 22 yrs. old(?) they could also process his case for a "local" category before reaching the age of 27 or 28 same with AK34 because they've already satisfied that so-called "basketball immersion thing" as per FIBA.

They are true examples of “heroes” who lived long enough to become the villains.
