  • If the issue are the laws. Maybe they can provide for a second naturalized player.

My take for awhile now is focusing on the senior is short sighted. If they truly want PH basketball to improve look at how we develop players and the issues that occur during development.

We'll risk suspension with that, according to Kume Tweetie.

      • We've got at least a hundred other issues to worry about. Gilas should be the least of the Senators' worries

        • Any word on what happened on the supposed emergency meeting the SBP set up yesterday?

isnt that just media mileage moves to make PBA look good? probably just to formalize that PBA is giving CCR his 3 months prep, 2 conference for next season, making PBA players available, etc nothing we dont know yet.

im actually not sure why the other stakeholders would be invited because outside of the last window(supposedly made up of collegiate players), what help will SBP ask from MPBL\NBL\NAASCU\CESAFI and other stakeholders? baka NBTC might have some sort of help in the future. if SBP has anything beyond 2023. thats very doubtful though,

based of your statement, SBP truly does not want PH basketball to improve. i agree. even if there will be a change in leadership next year, they arent really laying any foundation for the new leadership to work on. let see, they requested exemption on mostly 30+ yr old players save for Harper i think. they are burning a bridge in CTB. i mean, if they dont like him, then just let him go but dont burn any bridge as it can be useful in the future. i can site some more but yeah, its just frustration simply having leadership that neither has vision nor drive to excel.

sabi nga ni Kume: "Ang sinasabi ko lang, sorry ha? Hindi naman natin masyadong kailangan (sa windows) kasi pasok na tayo. Ang talagang kalangan nating paghandaan natin ay 'yung 2023," he added.

same thinking how we lost to Indonesia. i remember some people here was ok we lost. maybe personally its ok witth those poster, but look at the domino of that kind of mindset. for true competitors, always go for the win. if we think its overkill to send players from PBA or core of Gilas, send 1 level down players who are all out to win for their development. not send some PBA players with youngster and then not letting the young players, who actually need to develop, rot in the bench.

That makes the Indonesia loss even more frustrating. No play time given to Lopez, Navarro, and even Tungcab. Not only could they have helped on defense, maybe make the Indos think twice about shooting, but that was crucial development for them being on the floor.

The wrong players were used in that game. Referring to Pogoy, Troy, Mo, Montalbo.

Spot on. Maybe some posters believe the loss would be wakeup call to SBp and other stakeholders, etc.

                        • If Panlilio, Vargas and Choke won't attend the Senate hearing, they will be cited "in contempt". They will be detained. How 'bout that?

where did you get that? I didn't know that our Senate is already privately-funded. last time I checked, they were created by our Constitution as part of the legislature. maybe, I should read the Constitution again too see those amendments and revisions. I was not informed.

Basketball World Cup 2023 (FBWC 2023) is now shifting to a higher gear as the federation received a total commitment from basketball stakeholders in the country.
