Thing is we have a fuckton of ineligibles that we can field in the Asian Games. So we won’t be easy to beat even if the opposition has Tab as their HC.

anyone has news on this? were fans wearing black got fooled to buy tickets and watch live without any statement being made?

only post I saw on this was some SMB fans shouting to replace CCR. SMB fans pa tlaga. hahaha

here's some news tidbits regarding the protests

Reyes said he’s been made aware on the eve of the game by someone close to him about the plan, which he described as ‘unfortunate.’

“I prepared myself emotionally and mentally if it does happen,” the TNT mentor disclosed

RSA is not as enthusiast as MVP in the sport plus Al Chua doesn't like foreign coaches (except Tim Cone) to handle the national team... Look who are those coaches Al Chua hired in his stable, outside CTC eh most of them are tactical immatured coaching, even the newest stable of Al Chua in UST, He hired unexperienced Bal David to handle UST coaching spot... Basta kapadrino, kamag anak, etc... eh pasok sa kanya...
Chito Victolero has some maturity, especially with regard to defense. However, he does tend to rely on his smaller guards too much on that end. Plus, that physicality could result to fouls.

and that physicality will not translate well in FIBA especially that we are still on a short leash due to the Phil Arena brawl

Two of the country’s top sports patrons met on Monday. Manuel V. Pangilinan of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation and Ramon S. Ang of San Miguel Corporation held a closed-door meeting at SMC’s office in Mandaluyong. Though the details of the meeting were privy, it was said that a number of issues both in sports and […]

I won't be surprised if this was their plan from the get-go. I predict the leadership will shift to the RSA group post-WC2023.

Really not looking forward to that.
SMC is more likely. I'm also scared for that given the authority that Boss has.

However, if they're willing to sponsor player and coach training abroad, having young players develop overseas instead of funnelling them to UST and Letran, I'll be more hopeful.

I think that's August 1, maybe that is better since no need to pay for it.... Sinabihan pa ako ng Chot apologist on that!!!! I give them better option without spending too much... Symepre concern ako sa gagawin nyo na effort... going to Araneta to do that with pay is not worth it... PBA doesn't deserve our money...
Protesting OUTSIDE the venue hurts more, actually. As long as it catches attention.

Al Chua's character is just too shady para pagkatiwalaan.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Let's not count him out, bro. Remember, we're talking of SMC opportunity (and money - lots and lots of money) here, hehe.

and security of tenure with retirement packages, only SMC can offer him that job stability/security

                            • If SBP is a sample of how Panlileo manages a company, I would seriously advise PLDT shareholders to start divesting their shares....don't wait until PLDT becomes a mess too.

Hated Chua as well but business is business. I'd trust Al Chua since he knows his basketball more than an idiot nerd like Al Panlilio would ever do
