Reyes said he’s been made aware on the eve of the game by someone close to him about the plan, which he described as ‘unfortunate.’
“I prepared myself emotionally and mentally if it does happen,” the TNT mentor disclosed

It means they will again the big fish in a small pond... That is the reason why i have doubts of SMC will take over SBP post... RSA is not as enthusiast as MVP in the sport plus Al Chua doesn't like foreign coaches (except Tim Cone) to handle the national team... Look who are those coaches Al Chua hired in his stable, outside CTC eh most of them are tactical immatured coaching, even the newest stable of Al Chua in UST, He hired unexperienced Bal David to handle UST coaching spot... Basta kapadrino, kamag anak, etc... eh pasok sa kanya...

Two of the country’s top sports patrons met on Monday. Manuel V. Pangilinan of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation and Ramon S. Ang of San Miguel Corporation held a closed-door meeting at SMC’s office in Mandaluyong. Though the details of the meeting were privy, it was said that a number of issues both in sports and […]
I won't be surprised if this was their plan from the get-go. I predict the leadership will shift to the RSA group post-WC2023.
Really not looking forward to that.
However, if they're willing to sponsor player and coach training abroad, having young players develop overseas instead of funnelling them to UST and Letran, I'll be more hopeful.

Originally posted by robert0326As i said, it will not work on game venues that need to pay to watch the games, Who among frustrated fans will watch disgusted league after what happened to Gilas fiasco? Are you willing to pay 200 to do that? Praktikal buhay ngaun.. I would rather spend my 200 on buying necessity foods likes of rice or any everyday needs..... Maybe on the SBP event at MOA... I think that's August 1, maybe that is better since no need to pay for it.... Sinabihan pa ako ng Chot apologist on that!!!! I give them better option without spending too much... Symepre concern ako sa gagawin nyo na effort... going to Araneta to do that with pay is not worth it... PBA doesn't deserve our money...

Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV
