I know its a stretch but how about Chris Koon if & when he gets cleared as a local
6'5ish and looks to be more of a natural PG than Dwight

I see Koon as more of a 3&D player than a creator and facilitator as of now. Still valuable, as he could defend the wing and the point of attack.

Rotation of players and rotations on defense. Both sucked.

That prioritization of offense and bad rotations cost us in the SEA Games against Indonesia. Indo were shooting well prior to that game, so all we had to do was prioritize defending the 3, since we weren't shooting well ourselves. A few defensive adjustments sana (like putting in Navarro and Lopez, especially considering that Troy, Mo, and Pogoy were total negatives on both sides of the floor, even Wright was a defensive liability) could have won that for us.

Hay, nako. Fact is, we didn't adjust, we lost, world record.

He definitely has the tools & he was alot quicker than i thought he was (like a real PG speed and handle)
It may be a while before he gets cleared but after 5-6 years (when he's about 25-26) who knows

Oh really that bad huh? let me search those hype machines hahahahaha pero im hoping for a Daghles/Yakchali level of playing style, decent size internationally, not exactly a go-to scorer but capable and more importantly can run the Team for 35mins
Manu comparisons could be because of the 6'5 size and lefty, but as a ceiling? i wont be as dillusional lol

They're just experimental lineups, but teams are stacking up on them. SGs and forwards range from 193cm (6'4") to 200cm (almost 6'7").
Maybe the senior team could have the same effect on the PBA and the collegiate leagues, if successful. Problem is, too often is the national team influenced by the PBA and the style here. 3-guard lineups, or 3-guard-sized players, undersized tweeners, too few 6'4"-6'7" versatile defenders, mga ganun.

2021 team could have been a good example of a positive influence, that towards 6'4"+ wings, and 6'6"-6'7" versatile defensive forwards. Versatile/switchable defenders in Dwight (6'4"), Navarro (6'6"), and Balti (6'7"). Sad to say, not meant to be.

In fairness UAAP SFs seem to be bato bato. Dave, Lojera, Spencer. Probably started by Thirdy. Koon seems to be faster laterally than Ramos. If he bulks though he will slower.

                        • While there is lobbying thru whatever channels to get an exception, make no mistake about it, there is a formal process with application fees to be filed to get an exception, and there is a formal official decision. And Clarkson has a denial negative decision. Let's not compare his case with others who are either yet to be filed or yet to arrive with a formal denial decision.

While there isn't an explicit scoring system to determine a pass mark of who should be granted exception or not, Let's not fool ourselves or be piliospo, of who are obviously not good cases for exception. It is clear you have to have a resemblance of domestic residency and local basketball heritage . Additionally consistent with common law on rights to citizenship the age of residency and granting of citizenship is critically important to a positive decision, the younger the better preferably as a minor
Note entnicity absolutely has nothing to do with it , of course relationship to a citizen parent does have merit (it just so happens normally a Filipino citizen parent is of similar Asian entnicity).
But a Filipino entnicity parent who is not a former citizen of the Philippines means nothing (absolutely nothing)

Nobody is a Ginobili until they prove it.

How does that work? You establish yourself in a decade.

IMO, what we need to work on post-WC2023 is establishing a consistent system in a decade's time.

Just look at Korea. They've been able to maintain their competitiveness despite frequent changes in head coaches and personnel. Why? Because they have a consistent blue-print on where their NT offence and defence will flow. Unlike us, they don't throw out systems and use a new one once the coach is changed.

Ho I hope this will happen. While everybody hates Chot, I think Panlilio deserves to get as much blame as well. Panlilio now lacks credibility & his decision to replace coach Tab with Choke Reyes is definitely the most imprudent decision an SBP official could make. Panlilio's ass deserves to be kicked as much as Chot's ass does.

Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV
