Yeah, they should be integrated under a proven international coach like Tab or Nenad, at least have them learn how to defend like the 2021 team did against SoKor.
PBA will have to rely on ineligibles, like Rosser, and NCAA bigs, Arana et al, to spice up the draft. Ineligibles via the colleges are actually good. But hurts the PBA brand again because the Filfors will again dominate the league. Filfors like the Philips bros, who speak a Filipino language, will actually help though.

First 10 years maybe ( 1975 to 1985 ) , they were top in Asia both in quality and reputation. NBA champions Washington Bullets visited to play PBA All-Stars. Top clubs from Brazil and France were invited to play before. National Teams in the 1978 World Cup in Manila played PBA teams in tune up matches (World champion Yugoslavia lost to Toyota AFAIK).
Professionals were barred in competing in ABC before 1990, so no way a hypothetical NT composed of players from Crispa, Toyota and a few others can test if they can compete with the top NT in Asia.

Player go to Korea, just for the experience and soaking up some training knowledge and experience their sport scene. From that point there should be a floodgate of offerings both domestic and abroad.

Originally posted by CoJ View PostPBA failed in developing the next batch of superstars that are FIBA worthy. Pogoy, Wirght, Rosario and the rest of those Gilas 2016 version don't count. Next gen should just stay abroad for development and return to the PBA when they hit their 30s.Originally posted by Sikatrix View PostByproduct of foreign exodus. The PBA is barely responsible for development anyway considering the age players enter.
A more glaring sight is that between 2015 and 2018, only Terrence and Abueva were the positive eligible PBA additions to the lineup. The other positives were still pretty much the same. Castro and Gabe, sometimes Japeth, and then June Mar once Chot figured out how to use him.
