Been wanting to put it out there as a hot take with the news of Malonzo suddenly being eligible after all these years: There goes our hopes of Clarkson becoming local. Of course just a theory on my part, but I feel like Clarkson getting local status is either getting stiff resistance from the competition or FIBA itself is erring on the side of caution and wouldn’t want to open a Pandora’s box. I mean, Clarkson is no Jawato. I think Malonzo and perhaps some more would serve as a pampalubag-loob because FIBA doesn’t wanna risk ruffling some feathers by granting Clarkson local status.Never look too far ahead.
