what is the update on Edu? He should already be trying to acclimatize himself to the men's team. Or did the idiots of SBP are going to pick Rosario over Edu?

Rui Hachimura, "Cardo Dalisay" Ratliffe, and China's previous foreign coaches say hi. Not sure about the Chinese players.Originally posted by gideonNot sure why all on here got salty when the Serbian coach said Gilas lacked any real quality. I mean isn't that glaringly obvious.

We are like the serbia( 2014-2016 version) of asia lots of players playing in euroleague outside serbia at one point as their domestic league is tier below top european domestic leaguesTo becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

Gilas should be looking to have the same mindset.
Now the task is to develop our 6'5" and above "traditional" bigs into versatile players. Given their age, the Konov and Caelum types should continue in their development into these type of players. Hopefully, we do a better job of identifying younger players like them.

It’s been a rough year so far for Gilas Pilipinas. First, it was a subpar showing in the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers, where the offense looked less than ideal in a 24-point win against India and a 25-point loss against New Zealand. Next came a dismal showing at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games, where they […]

Basically, whatever your position is, you have to have the ability to spot-defend NBA wings.

Ateneo's looking to go in that direction with Chris Koon, and the addition of Kai Ballungay and Andrew Bongo, who are 6'7" and 6'5" respectively. Hope Lazaro can become a wing too in time, develop his shooting and perimeter defense.
