Hmm..I wonder how these 3 dudes co-exist if ever they form that team, the suppose coach must know how to handle the attitude and manners of the three stooges otherwise a disaster is waiting to happen especially if they are encamp in one accommodation just to build that so-called chemistry..malamang po parang PBB housemate moments for those 3.

Parang si Denis Shroeder lang, nag beg off sa OQT, pero after Germany qualified to Tokyo. He said "Count me in!"...lol, in the end, it was a long 2021 summer for him not playing

lol serious decision making issues. instead of making $80m+ in 4 years he's now making the league minimum. he would've redeemed himself if was able to stay in boston and play well/win the finals but nooo he got traded to the worst team in the league.

Our style is only more effective when the pace of the game is chaotic, because we all know what to do when chaos on the court happens. Countries with strict systems get lost when that happens.

SJ is on that LA Tenorio mold I guess, when they refer to him as "not a typical Pinoy guard" because the guards they've seen are Castro, Romeo, Bolick. All 3 of them are aggressive in taking the shot, unlike SJ.

Also I stand by my opinion, that I don't like SJ's game. He passes to the bigs way too little and dominates the ball too much during tough situations.

I totally agree with this. Thats why we didn't get killed by top teams in 2014. We keep changing our offense. Its our style of play will keep us competitive with top teams. Also able to use 10 to 12 man rotation.

Talent was key too. We had guys like Castro, Jimmy, Chan, Gabe, Ping, RDO, Douthit, and Blatche. Even Terrence Romeo played well during that stretch. And we played good defense that time as well. Personnel (mainly Gabe, Pingris, and partly Abueva), coaching staff (Tab and Black as defensive coaches), and preparation helped.

In my opinion, what separated the 2012-2016 squads from later squads until February 2020, apart from the talent and caliber of the players, was that the 2012-2016 squads exerted more effort on defense, and we had the personnel for that.

Honestly, If I am a Coach. I also play safe and used 9-10 Man Rotation. Idk, but most logical coaches always have that rotation. With 11-12th man just there for emergencies.

My Dream Eligible 10 Man Rotation is:

Big: Kai, AJ

Combo Forwards: Tamayo, Baltazar

Swings: Parks, Dwight, Perez

Guards: Kiefer, Heading

NP: Someone who can play 2/3/4

11th and 12th Man: Oftana, Thirdy

Reserves: Bolick, Panopio, Junmar

the trio probably gonna fight over one girl, similar to jason kidd, jamal mashburn and jimmy jackson fighting over Toni Braxton during the 90s. Kobe and Ricci are more likely to end up like Bong Alvarez, all that talent wasted due to questionable lifestyle choice

They should add Jio Jalalon to the team for lols

if our wishes were truly of interest to the SBP, they would have worked their asses off to secure the PH passports of promising filam players before they turned 16. i don't care what secret deals they dangle in front of the families, they should have just done it

then we would have the likes of harper jr, remy, and green playing alongside the OG himself jordan clarkson this coming 2023 WC.

But then again, it wouldn't be a wish-list if the SBP were composed of conscientious people.

Atleast Greg openly saying that he wants to join Gilas even there's a hindrance of letting him to join, But Parks? As a Gilas fan, i'm already move on and accept that Parks will not play for Gilas... I will support those players who are willing to play for Gilas, Even that is IBN's favorite Kib Montalbo, as long they play their hearts out for our team...

We have other off-guards, e. Dwight, Abando, Dave Ildefonso, Heading, Abando if he performs well.

We will need players his size or bigger at 3, though.

SBP could’ve contact BRP jr. the same time they contact the other japayukis.. telling you some SBP officials even with their given age can’t move on on some issues and get themselves over it..

If tab comes back, then it will be a different story as BRP jr. has highest respect on him..

as for kiefer, you need him as starting PG and put bolick as back up PG..

We've seen Parks in international games before. He played more like a shorter Norwood. A defender, facilitator, utility guy. He was afraid of contact. With Parks we always focus on the high and forget the before and after. In the PBA, we remember his sublime semis against Phoenix, where he was almost import like. But we forget all the other conferences and games that he didnt really make much of a difference. He disappeared a lot of times. After the semis, he injured himself because of that superhuman effort. He played a much lower level against Ginebra until his body couldnt do it anymore.

Even in his JP team, I dont see his games, but from his stats I would say he mostly the same guy. A defensive facilitating utility guy. With some offensive explosion here and there. If that is a guy who will play in Gilas, someone who is too brittle to take contact, I will think twice.

If Parks have Mikey's mindset (I will be aggressive especially on offense), I think Parks will be atleast borderline NBA player already...

If his father did not get sick Parks wouldve played in the NCAA as a 3 star recruit IRC. He wouldve been a big all around PG with scoring skills. Yes he wouldve been a borderline NBA talent. But there are things you sacrifice for the most important people in your life. The B league is not a bad consolation for the guy.
