These months will be a painful waiting game. Who will be selected for the next window and the Asia Cup, what will be the system?

If press releases are any indication, we're looking at a PBA core again for most of the windows, SEA games, and Asian Games. I only see Ramos and Thirdy being the shoo-ins from the B-League crew. I'm not convinced with Ange as his style isn't suited for Chot's DDO.

If it comes to the point where we're going to consider a new NP, i'd like to hear mccullough's name topping the shortlist. In terms of fit, he basically fills in a lot of our needs roster-wise.

We need a lot of muscle in Congress for that to happen in 1½ years time. One can hope.

Realistically, I see the team going with JC when he's available and just delegate the "abanger" center role to a local big. Yeah, Junemar, Japeth, and even Greg could be back on the pool if we can't get Kai or Edu in any of the tournaments.

wonder how heading will look like under CCR. will most likely be a strictly spot up shooter. probably Chan 2.0. he looks great in Taiwan where he moves around to his spots on top of doing catch and shoot.

would like to see him in Gilas again regardless of the coach. his shooting should be useful in any system.

Chot loves shooters… from 2007 days when he pick pure shooter ritualo over combo guard James yap.. then 2013 when he pick Chan and fonancier.. then in 2017 in wright

It would be a mistake not to consider Heading. Best pure shooter we've had since Ritualo.

Heading and Balti were a revelation last year.

I sound like a broken goddamn record, but Jong really would have been a better replacement for Tab. Even before Tab, Jong has had an ability to adjust to his personnel. He can adjust better than Chot and involve his bigs.

I dunno how Jong would adjust to wings like Navarro, Oftana, Lebron. Yeah, he's had Danny Seigle at SF, but he's more like Tamayo and Balti.

Lemme spell it out. Jesus fucking Christ? That's the exact word I was looking for.

A PBA core, when I can count with my fingers the 25-32 year old players who have the potential to play in FIBA, and those who have had a good track record. Jesus fucking Christ indeed.

I may have been talking out my ass here, there could be more PBA players with legit potential to play FIBA ball apart from Bolick, Perez, and Oftana.

Sa bagay, no. RDO can help him practice shooting, and Ping could switch to the perimeter. Pero even that said, feel ko talaga na mas OK si Gabe.

I just prefer Oftana as more 3 than 4 in FIBA, but under this system? He'll split almost equally.
