This shows how Kai is ahead on his peers in his age group among Homegrown and local Filipino Players.

Actually, Kai didn't even just make the roster of NBL Australia (Arguably Top 5, or maybe Top 10 Basketball league in the world). He also managed to be a starter for more than 10 games. He even have 15+ pts in some games.

And actually, It seems like he is getting the starting Center role now for Adelaide. And probably heading into the next season too if Kai stays there.

Amos made the cut. A pleasant surprise for me, but it wasn’t at the expense of another big. No Ravenas, No Pogoy. Winston also in. Let’s see what these guys are made of.

It's just in the Go for Gold page. I haven't seen another lineup yet.

U can have 12 players per game, different 12 per game , so why confirm just 12 now

U don't need to prepare visas to travel to Bulakan LOL

We just have to wait for the official confirmation. Baka kuryente to, although they already did this before and announce the other lineup right before the next game. Makes sense, hiding cards for the second game.

Yeah. I have a feeling this is "kuryente", although how I hope its not. How I would love it that Mason Amos makes it to the 12-man roster in at least 1 of the 2 games in the 6th window. Would also love to have Schonny Winston there as well.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Well, I’d regard this as just a personal preference from that page’s admin. I think it’s a bit too early to have a final 12 already.

IMHO, mason is not athletic but a mobile player. His mobility combined with good skill set is the best blue print for 6-6 and up homegrown players.

Sorry for the double post guys.

If Mason's shooting is true as advertised, he will be a mainstay in our Gilas lineups moving forward. Shooters are very valuable to space the floor and his size is a bonus. They can be more valuable than scorers because they can be effective without the ball. We should veer away from "dribble-dribble-dribble-tough shot" and start playing more "pass-pass-pass-splash" basketball.

The guy is a shooter not the isaac go type of shooter he is a deadshot and a very very mature scorer at junior level...
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
                        1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

A deadshot shooter is nice to have around but I hope he's more than that.

We don't want a Duncan Robinson situation.

he's a decent playmaker as well, not very athletic but pretty mobile for his size. i'd say at the same ages he's comparable to carl tamayo. amos is the better shooter & passer while tamayo is stronger/tougher at age 18

I really thought he was injury prone in his junior nt years..the tamayo played in thesenior team and eventually to up was a different one.. you cant teach grit (Tamayo and Standhardiner had it despite being unathletic not the best of shooters et. al)

he was injured and/or pabebe in some of the youth tournaments, iirc he only joined when goldwin was part of the coaching staff. but when he did play he was pretty tough going up against bigger opponents
