"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

And I think Konov is no Mike Hrabak as the former is quicker & has better handles than the latter. I think Konov is a combo forward. Of course he has a lot of polishing to do with his game but the thing is, he is only 17 yrs of age. He still huge room for improvements.
The player that really impresses me the most so far is Jacob Bayla. He is a 6-foot-4 natural shooting guard. This kid is very skilled. I think kung skills lang ang pag uusapan Bayla is better than Thirdy Ravena when Thirdy was of this age. I think its already a significant improvement for Phi basketball if there would be some sort of proliferation of 6-3/6-4 shooting guards.

I think a lot of people have high expectations for this year's team just because of the hype caused by Fil-Am inclusions especially Harris. If they placed 5th-6th, it will be at par with the previous performances since 2009.
Edit: I forgot SK beat NZ

Semifinals there was:
Philippines VS China
Australia VS NZ
Nz and Philippines lost. And faced each other in the battle for 3rd place where BG lost. Settling for 4th place.
Australia Beat China in the Finals

With the game against Kazakhstan, the Japan loss became more unforgiveable because seeing how other teams performed, a slot in the finals was very doable. Of course, Australia will likely win but at least we get to enter the Worlds.
We really need some help from some Goodfellas to solve our coaching problem.sigpic

If someone said from the beg that he's in the mold of Porter just slimmer&quicker (strictly as a big)then yes he's not that bad

In the event of a miracle happening. (Again, A Miracle)
I mean batang gilas beating australia.
Will the credit go to coach josh?
Or, to our bg players.
I believe it will still credit to the players. Haha.
But that is very unlikely to happen.
Sayang yung japan. I believe it is a winnable game
