Who put DDO Jr. in charge ba? MVP? AL Panlilio? Daddy nya?
Then they will say it's a thankless job and nobody wants this position, good thing DDO Jr, took this with the kindness of his puso.
Did they even ask Coach Mav Phenomenal? If inter-brgy plays lang din, better be the legend na lang.

Between a set screen to a layup, and all those dribble moves in isolation for a layup, they're both 2 points. The difference is that the former expends less energy. Joke and Choke don't know anything about that, do they? Next time just send Mavs Phenomenal Juniors please. They'll achieve the same thing Joke is getting with his current Filam lineup with 4 star prospect Caelum Harris.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Caelum will be begging off Gilas after this stint.

Looks like Japan has a new NBA prospect,Kawashima, still young and tall at 6'7. Well this early its unfair to judge if a bust Caelum is, sicne he is still very young. But if he will not have a proper training and guidance , he will just be the next Kobe Paras. And we need a good youth team coach, a foreign coach, permanent, maybe Dickel or let Coach Tab coach our youth team. DDO jr. is not good just like his father. SBP must stop this nepotism.sigpic

In fairness to Josh, he did not invent this system, he walked into it. Filipino guards have been hardwired to dribble and attack the basket no matter the consequences. This is the style they know. The DDO just gave them an option to pass whenever they can.
We really need a foreign coach to handle the youth team. otherwise, we're just preparing these kids to become superstars for the "masa" crowd in the outdated league called the PBA.

there's this snippet of memory i have about one of the games played by the national team in the 2007 Asia Cup. We're already losing against this Middle Eastern team and Helterbrand, I think, was lethargically running the team's offense. The commentator, Andy Jao, said in frustration: Hala sige, dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble... Fast forward to 2022 and we still have the same problem.
