I have a feeling Japan is stronger than Korea in this tournament. The Korea-New Zealand game tonight would be very interesting.
We can never tell..its really more on a discipline standpoint in this tournaments unless.. But Japan looks better on the eye test perspective pero I think Koreans have alot of 6'6 above guys..
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
    1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

    • Zairex is missing the point , no one is accusing the SBP of something without evidence, such as if a player received favoritism in the selection.
I'm accusing the SBP of bad practice supportred with common knowledge or evidence. What bad practice am I talking about, an appointment of a person to a position that has a relationship with decision maker of the appointment, his father. (The program director). This isn't chismis or a question if the appointment is of a qualified person or suitable. But simply a case of inappropriate practice as the decision maker of the appointment has a relationship with the appointee. In other societies this breaks the rules and is considered inappropriate. Don't get it ? And think this is acceptable?
Note this is not a personal business or owner of a team appointing his son to a position (which is within their entitlement). But this is the national team program! Where decision makers of appointment are required to be independent none bias in selection devoid of conflict of interest due to relationship.
Tab as program director cannot assign his son as the head coach of Gilas , this is unacceptable practice regardless if his son is qualified or not.

      • Korea & NZ both throwing bricks so far
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

            • That No. 11 big boy of NZ looks so tall.

On the other hand that No. 7 point guard of Korea is a good size PG.

                • i see defenses being used by their senior's counterparts - korea uses 3-2 formation that can shift into 2-1-2 and 2-3 formations while New Zealand uses turtle defense.
                  Attack
                  defend
                  Unite

That should be a blueprint we should use on defense. Same defense used by the senior team.

In our case, as I keep on saying, we should implement Tab's defense, starting at this level. So far our D is disorganized.

                    • Korea settled for 3s for a long stretch here in the 4th. From up 1 they are down 5. They need to attack the paint more.

                              • And that's game. South Korea should win this. They almost choked their lead twice.
