And perhaps the eldest is the least skilled among the 5 bros.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Joe is the smallest among the jgdls in terms of playing a basketball position quite an undersized.. "sf".. If not for pandemic, we will see all 3 playing for up.. but plans do change..
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
            1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

Read an article last week that the u16s will be held in Lebanon and iran.
              Hopefully its correct.

‘The 2021 FIBA Asia events were among the main topics discussed during the meeting, with India confirmed as hosts of FIBA Women’s Asia Cup 2021, while Lebanon and Iran confirmed as hosts of FIBA U16 Women’s and Men’s championships respectively.’

Wait , this is under 17 right? is Caelum Harris eligible by the time this tournament will be held? Is this line up"above" is one that is projected by SBP? by Batang gilas coach?

MIES (Switzerland) - Following a request from the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB), the change of location of the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2022 has been confirmed by FIBA.

"Sixteen teams will compete for the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup title next year in Spain. Twelve teams have already qualified for the event and include Egypt, Mali, USA, Argentina, Canada, Dominican Republic, France, Lithuania, Poland, Serbia, Spain and Slovenia. Four teams from Asia/Oceania are yet to qualify and will do so via the FIBA U16 Asian Championship to be held next year."

This article is written last Oct 22,2021. Looks like there will be U16 next year. No specific date yet though.

Fiba U17 World Cup will be on July 2, 2022.

So I guess it will be on April or May at least???

                  Hays. Sana makasali tayo.

                    Derek Domangcas - 6'4
Jayden Harper - 6'5-6'6 (If Ever eligible)
                    Caelum Harris - 6'5-6'6"
                    Femi Edu - 6'4-6'5

                    BIGS

                    Zain Mahmood - 6'5"
                    Ezekiel Valdez - 6'6"
Sebastian Reyes - 6'6 (I know. We want him to be a Wing. Pero No Choice. Lack Bigs. HE CAN BE POINT FORWARD)

                    ENZO FLOJO ADDITIONAL

                    "Locals:

                    Dwayne Miranda (son of Denok)
Lebron Nieto (bro of Mike and Matt)
                    James Ison
                    Paolo Rodriguez

and the “Kiefer Ravena” of this generation (though you won’t find YouTube clips of him I think) — Muhammad Gunting of UST.

                    Foreign-based guards worth considering also:
                    Renzo Competente (LA)
                    Dominic Nankil (San Diego)
                    Josh Adefala (Hong Kong)

I like you added CJ Amos even if he’s born 2007. He’ll be eligible for TWO U16 tourneys (2021 if tuloy and 2023)."

THIS IS SIGNIFICANTLY SMALLER THAN PREV BATCH. BUT AT LEAST WE CAN SEE SOME OF OUR YOUNG PROSPECTS. ALSO, IT WILL BE QUALIFICATION FOR U17 WORLD CUP ALSO NEXT YEAR

As for Basti Reyes, he can still be a wing, provided that he play in a small ball setting, as in, 5 out on offense, or when he plays the 4 alongside Valdez. He can either bring the ball up on offense or play the perimeter on that end.

This group will have an abundance of wings. I hope all develop as such.

Shame that bigs like Demisana, Salvoro, Perciano, and recently-discovered Brix Versoza are age-ineligible for this tournament. This could have been big for their development.
