That's why I am more confident playing against 16 y.o. Chinese 6'5s who are forced to play guards because of this "taller is better" mindset. They maybe be taller but definitely they are not in anyway more instinctive and dont have better BBIQ than our 5'8 boys.
Also that in the youth level, individual skills of the players weights more than team cohesion or chemistry. So somehow, it makes sense having a No. of small but very skilled point guards & shooting guards in the team.

aside from Pinoy made highlights, all other highlights I saw is the kid doing spot up shots and doing layups because defense left him. because of this, i have 0 expectation aside from he should be money when left open outside. mamaya magexpect tayo, michael hrabak pla peg.

          I really want too.

Sir enzo flpjo said Jayden and Femi may be available in U17 if we qualify.

We can finally see if Jayden is really eligible if that happens

Hopefully, His shooting translates in Fiba Youth for Batang Gilas.

We have some athletic slashers already.

            • FIBA U16 Asian Championship
              June 12-19, 2022

June 13 - Gilas Youth vs Kuwait
June 14 - Gilas Youth vs Japan

Time for Batang Gilas. Idk how stong the youth teams if other coutries. But I think Batang Gilas can beat Kuwait. Idk about Japan.

But sana naman, our batang gilas will show better performance than the Gilas Sea Games Team

              • We really need to defeat Japan and top the group C in the prelims to have the best shot at qualifying for the world cup. Looking at the groups, if we'll top group C, we'll most likely meet with Qatar or Bahrain in the quarterfinals which, I believe, is the best scenario for our team. If we loose to Japan in the prelims, we'll most likely clash with Australia in the QFs (assuming we win the the qualifying round against Kazakhstan or Korea).

                • Japanese teams have always been dangerous in the Asian youth level. I fear Japan more than I fear Iran or Lebanon in the youth level.

Their preparations has always been the key to their youth team's success. And also, their for-japs. They have plenty of them.
