Mongolia joins the EASL. The champion of the Mongolian Basketball League will be given a slot starting next season.

EASL expands by partnering with Mongolia’s ‘The League,’ adding its champion for the 2025-26 season and beyond.

If Meralco beat NTK.. them and Macau will both 3-3.. and assuming it will go to quotient.. Meralco have that advantage since we beat Macau at the opener, while NTK and Macau split their H2H matches...

    Meralco +12 (beat Macau 97-85)
NTK +7 (split getting w/ Macau, first was Macau win 107-95 then NTK revenge with 114-95)
    Macau -19

So that means Macau is already out of contention regarding what happens between Meralco and NTK.. Meralco just need a win, even a 1 pt only to advance to the next round... meralco will have superior quotient over the two... So that means the game between Meralco and NTK will be a do or die game for both teams...

This is it actually. SMB was built by Coach Leo to dominate the PBA AFC nothing more and nothing less. Unlike Greg and Japeth, it was never JMF's job to stop the import. This is why they only became champs when they had the import who could match-up against the competition. Without an extraordinary import SMB cannot compete. They could have developed JMF in another way and asked him to defend imports better or defend better on ball screens but that was not their vision.

SMB is only there just for a mere appearance, sorry for those paying fans

they don't deserve to watch those pretenders whose mind was not totally on the game.

So that means Meralco have to stick to their system.. I guess Ryukyu might not field their starters on 22 to rest them since they have to play and to be healthy to their mother league, they are already qualified anyway at finals 4... Meralco might win there (also meralco is undefeated at home)... Crucial game will be against Taipei on February 12.. Newsome will be the first one to defend Jeremy Lin... And they will be heavy underdogs vs Taipei since they will play on the road plus home cooking possible happen especially in calls...
