This shows you how complicated PBA teams are. SMC is literally dropping 1 B a year with only the general goodwill of the people in return. One perspective is that is why RSA wants to win the PBA games at any cost. On the other hand is it really good basketball theyre playing? You could argue for GSM. However, is the 5 straight AFC champion SMB's brand of basketball something we can present and compete against the world? The EASL's results is a resounding no. RSA needs to double down on what actually works and produces good basketball. Hoarding all the good players and tilting foul calling to favor your team didn't do anything for SMB outside the PBA.

Yeah, Ginebra better look to compete in the EASL. Get an import to support Brownlee, and as much as possible, play good defense and move the ball quickly.

Our best teams shouldn't be aiming for just PBA titles anymore. Should be aiming for more, see if they can compete in the region. If their guns are tired, that's why squad rotation exists. In the PBA's current format, though, squad rotation is difficult, considering that you need to get playoff position within 11 games.

Personally, I do think MERALCO's a better fit for EASL ball than Mags. Just needs size inside and a shot creator.

to be fair, size and scoring can be filled in by 2 imports. As I've said before, you have a problem if your team's top scorer is Allein Maliksi. (good 3-D guy, but should not be the focal point of offense) .
