UP defeating a KBL team in scrimmages is a dangerous sign for the PBA coaches. It's not only Ateneo that's "tactically mature" in the Philippines now.

agree, for a college team, this is really an impressive win against a pro team. goldwyn and tab are implementing good systems and it's nice to see them beating teams overseas.

The guys seem more motivated playing against the teams still looking for an Asian import. The games seem to be closed door though so we cant say much how they played except for the final score, highlights and comments by Heo ball.

Also, LG probably also split with SMB because they showed a final score of 98-113 LG Sakers.

What makes PBA coaches tactical immature. SK also does 4 out offense like SMB, when they have an import who works best inside like RaGuna or Vernon M. who has no outside shooting.

Because our top college teams can now (barely) beat KBL teams, and perennial playoff teams at that. That tells me even if PBA players are superior, their tactics don't match up.
