They are gonna sign a multi year deal this off season. They played their cards right . Especially for thirdy whos already earning probably 8x the pba max. Expire this year after playing really well, be with an aussie agent who knows when they will b allowed in the b league. Then sign a lucrative contract before that happens to secure yourself.
Are all of the pinoy imports handled by the aussie agent? Very wise move.

    Sir Reams,

I agree with you on this on a certain degree.

sometimes telling the truth and being brutally(?) honest may come in a perfect timing because we have to be aware that people had different perspective in life be it your own kin.

that's the lessons in life when dealing and communicating not only with my own circle but also outside of it.

that is why I keep biting my tongue most of the time.

there's a perfect timing on everything.

    we badly needed that.

EASL CEO Henry Kerrins wants one or two more teams from competitive leagues like the B.League and KBL next season: https://twitter.com/baekpd1983/statu...gvLKoZZgw&s=19

Looks like they're serious about expanding the EASL next season.

European teams rotate their players in football and basketball in multiple tournaments, and bring in reserves and kids against "lesser" opponents. You need to make sure that enough of your key players are fit enough to face strong EASL opponents.

This is also on the PBA too. The sked is too stretched, especially in a FIBA tournament year. The tournament structure (11 elimination games) ensures that most PBA teams will have to use their key players a lot, little room to rest and try some bench players. Plus, need some changes in the import rules so that EASL teams have both their imports in the PBA and EASL for chemistry.
Doesnt really the case meralco even with easl is just playing twice a week and they used other imports (lofton and Ibeh) up until braimoh got injured..

With the first pick of the 2028 BLeague draft, the Shiga Lakes select Andy Gemao from US NCAA. Lol lowkey securing the draft rights of a certain player. I hope the draft process is like NBA where they can select a player even if the player did not declare for the draft.

    Sir Tukayo,

I think those dudes are not included because they've already been in the active roster hence they are not going to be part of that drafting, that's the initial information that I've received.

technically they are now considered as veterans, now if ever they will be instructed to be in that drafting, it doesn't make sense really.."katawa tawa yun".

Maybe those who played well in the B league will stay longer… meanwhile those who underperforming will likely cut… so they have to perform well, especially if they give them playing time..

Unless if those names like Ben Simmons, Josh Giddey, etc…. But I doubt if they recruits those big name Australian ballers… they will rather choose Euroleague first (Just like Dante Exum did) before B League if their NBA career is done…
