Let's not rail on Clarkson here, he did the best with what he was given. Chot's system obviously just expected way too much of him like it did when Blatche was still the import and Blatche's gilas started losing game after game past 2016. It's simply the asa sa import system, they're using these imports like water buffalos instead of just really good players you can lean on in clutch situations, if anything Chot really should stick to farming where he can actually use real water buffalos instead of coaching human beings.

But in Chot's scheme of things, he may score, but the offense really become stagnant when JC just looks to score. No other way of saying it. What PHL needed was the LA Lakers version of JC, the one that is highly effective when he sets up people and also scores. Good if you have Kobe as your teammate. I think that was the JC that Ty Lue and LBJ was expecting , but sadly, the version of JC that they got was different.

Dodgers will offer lots of money and they have a good farm system of pitchers to trade a 3 in 1 plus money should be a good deal.

I wouldn't blame JC. He's a volume scorer who can also dish assists. And he did that. Notice how in the first 2 games, whenever the other team will sort of pull away, he will answer with a bucket. Without him, all our games will be blow outs. He's not a defensive player and he's not really a set-up guy, so you can't expect him to suddenly do that.
He did however play all out. So many times diving to the floor and hurling his body in a crowd, those are recipes for injuries but he did not care. Not to mention he is probably so fatigued at the end of every damn game. Gotta give him props for that.
All our players played their hardest. But everyone has a weakness, and the other teams were able to capitalize on those. Identifying those weaknesses and capitalizing on those is the job of...

I agree JC did what he can do and played his heart out. People sometimes underestimate international ball & how different it is compared to the NBA.
