Gilas would be really good against this NZ team. Aside from the physicality on defense, this NZ team doesnt really have exceptional players and JMF would have a field day against this team. We all know how Kai had his best games against NZ but Kai's major hindrance would be Choke.haha

Choke isnt placing Kai on the right situations and it was expected that Kat will have a field day on a 21yr Kai. It would have been different if Kai wasnt task to defend Kat but as rim protector and help defender.

Zhao Rui is OK but Guo Ailun is still better. But yeah they need to naturalize a PG like what a lot of European teams are doing.

No problem… it looks like China is not comfortable with their current line up… Kyle Anderson being scoreless is indication that China is in mess again… he looks like more liability in China than being asset for them.. All this NZ has to offer is its physicality on defense and really just average on offense. kerr played small and that is why you were hanging around 15. This NZ against domrep would be losing on way bigger margin than Gilas and i wont be surprise of an at least 15pts difference.

i think it was because of the history of the brawl against Australia as they will try to provoke our players but Delgado chose the wrong guy as Junemar is really one of the nicest guy on and off the court , plus some latinos are known to be a cunt so i'll not be surprised about this, Delgado can't stop Junemar so he just chose to provoke him

Sayang yun laro kahapon. But i was impressed that they went toe to toe. A lot of the posters here were short of saying we'll get blown off but we didnt. Yes, still lots to improve on but im tired of the prep time excuse. Ilan taon na yan. Unfortunately, thats just a bad habit that i have already accepted that this current leadership of Gilas will always make.

3 days of practice as team was only complete by arriving in Lebanon. Thats on us and reason PBA is not helping to the fullest the Gilas team since 2015

Yes definitely, the game has evolved, even the NBA where we patterned our 90's iso play has evolved and embraced team play.. watch the vid, we ran Spain pick and roll resulted in a easy 3 point attempt for jc.. it doesn't have to be iso play hero ball all the time..
