They need to survive round 2 in order to travel to Manila, it will be a tough task as they have to beat Germany or Spain to enter the quarterfinals if i am in the Philippines right now i'll be hoping for Slovenia to advance as Luka is my favorite player, if Austin Reaves is receiving this much adoration how much more with Luka edit its Australia not Spain as Spain is in Jakarta, so it will be among Finland, Slovenia , Germany , Georgia and Australia will advance in Manila im not counting out Finland as they have a chance against Germany , while in Jakarta it will be among Canada, Spain, France, Latvia , Brazil i think aside from Team USA we got the short end of having teams with starpower being assigned to play at, though to be fair we will host the knockout stage so but if you will choose among these countries which 4 teams you want to see in Manila

In all honesty, I wish they didn't fire Tab as it wasted 3 yrs of our prep time. But next to him Chot knows the players and have good result 8n some international tournaments. Nenad himself resigned because he didn't want Pinoy drama like you guy go personal on people.

We need proper prep time. We didn't have that, just like 2017 AC. Look how they got destroyed by China and Iran while having Yuta. Out rebounded and couldn't make their inside plays.

I really dont understand this. Didnt the Philippines have the same prep time as all the other countries? If the team wasnt able to maximise the time alotted, that should be on sbp and the yeam manager.

Sayang yun laro kahapon. But i was impressed that they went toe to toe. A lot of the posters here were short of saying we'll get blown off but we didnt. Yes, still lots to improve on but im tired of the prep time excuse. Ilan taon na yan. my point is experience wise they are still raw in this kind of competition as proven by the late game boboos, though i wish they beat china too the same with puerto rico , there's no national team that i hate the most than china, not because of geopolitics but they did us dirty last 2015 and another national team that i hate the most is south korea, as this country is a crook when it comes to homecooking in sports competition not just with basketball but also in other sports. ask roy jones jr and also their team being helped by the officials during the 2002 fifa world cup

No problem… it looks like China is not comfortable with their current line up… Kyle Anderson being scoreless is indication that China is in mess again… he looks like more liability in China than being asset for them..
