    • honestly, we are in the best position to "shock" the competition so to speak.. unlike Japan and China (and probably the rest of Asia), we had the most lowkey preparation.. and when I say lowkey, we really didn't go up against world cup bound teams during the preparation that is shown publicly on TV or streaming.. yes we participated in that tournament in China with Senegal and Iran Team B.. but even in that tourney, we didn't have scottie thompson, JC and Kai.. as in no one knows how we play.. that can go both ways, can a disaster (hopefully not) and a blessing..

Hopefully coach chot and coach tim has really worked hard for the team despite the cramming we have.. because I really do feel, if we play our cards right, we can shock our group (well minus Italy who has been tearing everyone apart - unless they peak too soon)..

We need a couple of volunteers to tire out KAT the night before the game. Bonus: KAT babies.

Better yet, they should entertain the South Sudan players assuming they can survive the size. LOL

The problem will be everyone knows JC… it is easy to find his plays on YouTube… same as Kai sotto that plays last month’s summer league… let’s see if they will pull more surprises here….

It's all about our shooting.. we really do not have enough shooting.. so I hope that will be fixed because if we have a good shooting day, a good chance to win..

bad thing that jordan heading and ray parks are out.. those 2 can really give us a lift with our shooting.. roger pogoy is a streak shooter.. if it is his day IT IS HIS DAY.. hoping his day would come with dominican republic and angola..

                    • South Sudan is home to the Dinka tribe (remember the movie The Air Up There). Most of their players look Dinka.

Maybe send some pinoy gigolos to that tribe. Moms are a bigger factor in a child's height.

I saw a video on FB years ago about the regular sports featured in African youth's intramurals or sports fest. Not sure if it was the Dinka or some other tribe in the eastern part if Africa but they were contesting high jump and they were not doing it the traditional way. Instead, they were jumping over the cross bar like they were doing hurdles, lol

To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
                            1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

Players can now be trained to orchestrate and execute from ANY POSITION. Yes, right now, we have that problem of only PGs being able to orchestrate and execute. But, man, I hope we can develop taller players from other positions that can orchestrate.

Boxing into positions isn't limited to undersized bigs and undersized wings. It also affects the guards.
in the PBA only Coach Tim has multiple players that can initiate the play, from Alaska to Ginebra, i know it's one of the principles of the triangle offense but now he is not solely relying in triangle offense, last season at least 4 players averaged close to 4 or more assists per game, la, scottie, justine and christian , i hope he can develop Jamie Malonzo to become a better playmaker
