Tbf, Wright actually has some decent PG skills that last sea games (kiefer and montalbo suck so bad) that they gamble using Wright more as a defacto PG/On ball playmaker and he did very nice.

That's honestly what Wright should have been used for, PG and ballhandling duties. Troy's switching should have been developed, especially since he has good motor and athleticism. Pogoy needed a good defensive coach and system to be more useful for Gilas.

Assuming USA doesn't choke, September 5 should be an ideal game to watch right?

I got 2-day passes from the FIBA website which the SBP rebuilt into single-game tickets when they got SM Tickets and Ticketnet onboard. The assumption is the games starting on the hour (4:00 and 8:00pm) will be at Araneta, while those at either 4:45pm and 8:30pm/8:40pm will be at MoA. Ticketnet has not released tickets for the 2nd round/classification games. SM Tickets has, but printed TBD on the tickets.

That said, if USA tops the group (or even finish 2nd)... they'll be playing at MoA on Sept 1 and Sept 3, if they don't make it out of the group... they'll still be playing at MoA, but on August 31 and Sept 2. Every game from the quarters onward will be at MoA.

The clusterfuck with the scheduling and venues only happens if Gilas either makes it out of the group or even tops the group... because the whole thing is setup for more people to be accommodated for Gilas games at Araneta.

Gilas lose to Mexico 77-84… it should be a winnable game if JC plays… but chot wants to lose… sometimes chot doing things that angered many of gilas fans… what they will get if the lose? If they win this game, the confidence will be high… as if JC is not accustomed to back to back games in nba!! Atleast limited minutes is enough to create some much needed chemistry between him and his teammates… but chot is so stubborn…
