Thanks. Don't know if it's accurate but some were saying that is their team B. Also, no sighting of their small guards.

    • This is recent… jordan vs Angola… the most popular guy on Angola is Bruno Fernando (Atlanta big man).. but they are really beatable.. I don’t see gilas will lose to Angola here… Jordan beat their ass in their pocket tourney weeks ago…

I've seen this video featuring Jordan vs. Angola in the 2023 King Abdullah Cup. Yeah, I agree with U, this current Angola team is really weak. It is significantly weaker than the Angola team in the 2019 World Cup where it beat Gilas in overtime. I think if that Angola team that played in the 2023 King Abdullah Cup faces the Gilas team that played in the recent pocket tournament in China & play a 5 game series, Gilas will win at least 3 of those games. I think the Senegal team that Gilas faced in that pocket tournament in China is stronger than Angola. With the way the Angolans played against Jordan, they looked being ill-coached. Its not like the Jordanians were playing a very good game. I think Jordan just played its normal game.

But Rds is right, Angola might just be hiding its its aces in the King Abdullah Cup. It would be interesting to scout Angola on its friendly/tune-up games after the King Abdullah Cup. I think with the World Cup just 10 days away, teams now would hardly hide their cases. Hindi naman pweding taguin nila mga best players nila & they would just field them during the actual World Cup games per se.

Closed door games meaning nobody would be allowed to record videos of the game? Maybe video highlights would only be allowed to be uploaded in youtube but not the entire game. We have to do everything to keep our team from being scouted. There's the Dominican Republic & Angola would would be more than willing to scout us. Ok lang if they were able to scout us in the recent pocket tournament in China as Jordan Clarkson & Kai Sotto didn't play in that pocket tournament.

            • Meanwhile, Senegal beat fellow traditional African basketball powerhouse Nigeria in a pre-Olympic qualifying game. Perhaps Senegal fielded the same roster that played in the recent pocket tournament in China.

              • Blunder after the other after the other after the other equals triple whammy..

Having the baldog brothers(either of the two) in the final lineup is already a blunder what more adding Scotty 2 Hotty to the narrative then what now. Por pabor Senior!! But the dude was out for a long a time because of that hand injury, second JC and Kai are already a concern because they arrive late in the training camp hence cohesion, chemistry and tendencies will always be a big question mark and third the likes of Carl(begged off because he needs to heal his injured part but all of a sudden news came out that he is already a month(?) of doing rigorous training for his B League team) and Justine(despite being healthy both physically and emotionally was not invited at all).

We’ve already fed up with that cramming issues and medical dramas of several players. I really felt sad considering that we started this 2017 but until now our team are shaky.

didnt Chot's press conference just finish? I stopped after 2mins because CCR was just "ang hirap ng buhay namin blah blah blah" but in the background I saw, aside from vienna sausuage, Dwight and Kiefer. safe to say those 2 are part of the final 12.

Too bad with the 3 Gilas tune-up games being on a closed-door set-up. I was planning to watch at least 1 game just to see Gilas play live and see for myself if they (the complete Team A will play, i assume) have what it takes to pull-off win(s) in the 1st round.

I haven't seen nor heard of that latest conference but as usual the poor guy is full of soap box in his life...get Maalala Mo Kaya of Ms. Charo Santos or Magpakailanman of Ms. Mel Tiongco..sorry to all Cha. 2 and 7 subscriber but I considered those shows IMHO very low level on my own taste...CCR should submit his own narrative as well.

                        • While Reggie Moore already died (RIP), Moore give Gilas headache in the last meeting in 2019… Then Leonel Paulo, Olimpio Cipriano, Eduardo Mingas, Carlos Morais and Hermenegildo Mbungaare all retired playing for Angola national team

Confident maybe because the 2019 version is very weak but almost beat them… that is also coached by non familiar FIBA coach yeng guiao plus not fit blatche and undersized players… Angola didn’t improve since 2019… I’ve followed them from Afrobasket qualifiers until last window February and they are not special… this current team also lose to Senegal in afrobasket quarterfinals last 2021 that gilas beat couple of days ago…
