When did we ever have more bigs than guards?

Only difference now is we have less sub-6’0 guards and more 6’3-6’5 guards.

We are running a DDO system after all.

Not really high on Abando as he can’t dribble drive without losing the ball.

That's the problem with Abando. But he can shoot given he is open. He is also long and explosive enough to bother taller players. Pogoy had one good defensive game. But even with his better instincts he is slower now and shorter and not as long as Abando. He also has not been hitting his shots. So I would still go with Abando.

Calvin works better in a swing offense system because his Dribble-Drive abilities just isn’t there.

With JC and Scottie in we need less PGs. But Newsome is our best guard defender. Newsome as a defender is more vaulable than Abando is a spotup shooter I think. Oftana does not seem to be effective in Chots offense.

Ideally we dont need Kiefer. But Chots offense does need dribbling. This is why Oftana and Abando will be out. But lets see in the tuneups.

NZL woes in tune up games is self inflicted (fixable tough) avg 21 turn overs per game , staring PG and NBL 6th man awarded Shea ili has played a total of 10 mins, hopefully he's ready for the WC as we need him to control things, in China game NzL lost double digit leads and 4th quarter last 12 possessions was terrible..

Hopefully they clean things up for the WC (all plausible)
