We all know how PBA & SBP pipol think.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

I will take a Justine Baltazar (if only he is willing or available) over a Junmar Fajardo 99 out of a hundred times.

Honestly, I don't know how June Mar is still considered a top option for the pool at this point. Even by the fans. After seeing how he played last window (where he was a two-way liability), I don't really see him as anything other than an emergency option at this point (i.e. Japeth, Kai, AJ injury).

What SBP people (who are also PBA people) think might sound accurate, plus the June Mar addition by JAMSKIE.

Personally, I think Mike should be part of the training pool too, just to simulate the athleticism we will be facing from the bigs. And Pogoy? I dunno, I think Abando should take precedence at his spot, but knowing how Chot and SBP think, ayun.

Eh 6-time PBA MVP yan eh! So how can he be left out? That's what some fans, PBA & SBP pipol think.

they should fine. thats 6 players already, if the other 6 players who will join these are starter levels, then team USA will still be the team to beat. PH loses though if there are no NBA superstars. organizers would obviously want the biggest of names to play for their countries as part of marketing. but the USA, as a team, would still be fine. i dont even know(which team) who can keep up with the scoring that Ant, Brunson, and Mikal will make. Maybe AU and Canada. Spain and France would need to slow the game down to favor them. Slovenia and Greece will go to Luka and Giannis. but i dont know if their supporting cast can keep up.

obviously, I want PH to do well. but I hope all the healthy stars play for their countries. make it worth it for those who watch live.

The biggest challenge nowadays is Justine being handled by the Corleones/Lannisters whom we all know had some issues with the board because he was disapproved on the recent voting and that result was not very cool for the guy. I’m really hoping Justine may be included in the pool and whatever happened in that Paris voting may not affect his possible inclusion.

Besides they should not gamble on the unstable knees of JMF for now, the PBA/SBP must be mindful and show some empathy for the guy’s health and basketball career moving forward.

                      • With the exception of AJ, I think every pool member selected has to have played in at least 1 window or SEAG, So coaching staff has an idea of how they will contribute and how they fit with others

His exclusion perplexes me in a basketball perspective. We have a 6'7/6'8 guy who has played well internationally and is in playing condition. With our lack of healthy 100% bigs his exclusion is a real big question mark for me. The only excuse is that he is playing in a lower tier league right now. But defensively I don't think you can put any other eligible big who is healthier than him right now and is capable of playing a lot of minutes. Edu and Kouame are taller and better rim protectors but those guys are on minute restrictions.

Pulling out of the PBA draft at the last minute soured his relations with the SBP.

                            Panlilio is a PBA dog.
