            At present, here.

            Eligibles:

Guards: Scottie, Newsome, Bolick, RJ, Dwight, Parks, Heading, Perez
            Wings: Malonzo, Oftana, Thirdy, Abando
            Tweeners: Tamayo, Mason, Baltazar
            Bigs: Kai, AJ, Japeth

            NP pool: JC, Brownlee, Kouame

I prefer a solid defensive team, so rim protection at center is crucial. So are Dwight, Scottie, Malonzo, and to an extent Parks, as they can defend. Add some talent, and it's good.

I'd choose just one of Bolick and RJ as the 18th man. Just had a hard time leaving one in without the other. Bolick's faster, and RJ's a better shooter.
No Ravena bros LOL , but i actually understand ... Silent killer ,,, no KBL players. thing is really can't make everyone happy LOL

They're good options, but their positions are way too loaded.

I edited the pool to include Thirdy.

                        Guards: Thompson 6'1 Heading 6'2 Abando 6'2 Abarrientos 5'11 Bolick 6'0

                        Wings: Clarkson 6'6 Brownlee 6'7 Quiambao 6'4 Ramos 6'4 Malonzo 6'7 Navarro 6'6 Oftana 6'5 Parks 6'4

                        Bigs: Kouame 6'11 Aguilar 6'10 Sotto 7'1 Tamayo 6'7 Amos 6'7

Damn, we suck. We don't have a guard taller than 6'3 (as far as the FIBA height listing is concerned) and I don't consider Parks a guard anymore since he's been spending the last few years sitting on the corner for Nagoya like how a Chot Reyes team wants his wings. Tab wanted Ramos to develop into a FIBA-level guard, but we've seen Chot use him as a small ball 4... which Quiambao actually is and why I picked him. Of the old Tab guys that Chot will never pick for the final squad but need for practice, Navarro will be useful...but if Mike Phillips dominates the glass in the SEA Games against all those Americans, I'm actually thinking he should be included and take out Navarro. I personally wouldn't pick either Ravena over Bolick, I'm even considering Perez over both of them anyway. We just have way too many good guards but what Gilas needs are guys who can defend 6'6 - 6'8 guys on the switch and go back to the New Zealand blowout and the 2nd half of the DR game for reference.

                        • South Sudan That team was littered with 8 current and former NBL names in Majok Deng, Bul Kuol, Sunday Dech, Deng Deng, Deng Acuoth, Jackson Makoi, Kuany Kuany and Jo Lual-Acuil.

2 Brazilian national team players are former NBL playears

While French Breakers drsftees Dieng , Rupert , Hugo coild make the WC

Of course .many Australia and NZL players are NBL

Asian players , Zhou, Kai and Baba

                          • My count is at least 30 former and current NBL players will play in WC, they could be a top 5 league in terms of number of World cup players

                            • I just hope that the philippines wont lead the world cup with the most number of players on the roster from the domestic league (outside the USA and the NBA of course). for the previous 2 world cups 11 of our players are from the PBA!

And in the last WC, over half the roster was lacking in quality. Really, the only quality performers in there were Blatche, Perez, Bolick, and maybe June Mar and old Gabe.
