Is Jalen Green worth the big price? For sure his insurance will be big as same as Clarkson, especially if he improve his game.... With SMC take over of the program eh they are interested?

we can only answer that when we have a coach already. his system should dictate if a player of his type can help us. For an iso-centric system like CCR, i would think it's worth it even if we loose a bit of size by taking a wing NP instead of a big. it is imperative this system has players who can penetrate defense no matter what to attract D and open the others. something that was on full display with Blatch and Castro.
A triangle (CTC before, not happening now) or CTB\Nenad or even what Coach Gold\Ayo base style might not be as worthwhile. these systems need really good bigs who can work along with the other players instead of dominating the ball. unless we are comfortable that a couple of local bigs to hold the fort, specially on defense, these type of system might favour a defensive big who has passing. They can anchor the defense and be able to swing ball around if shaded lane is crowded. thats 4 coaches, so just check how their big moves as an example.

The problem with not having above average defenders is, as weve seen in the Fiba Asia cup, below average defenders resort to gulang to keep up. If that is not enough they resort to hurting people. Malonzo is athletic and a decent defender. But Balti and Navarro have been our defensive cornerstones in Fiba.

Chot has not really been impressed with Baltis game. Maybe not "pogi" enough. He didnt include him in his 23 for 2023. Maybe Balti is not available in the next qualifiers. But it should be clear that he should be included in the 2023 WC pool.

Balti, Dwight, Oftana, Navarro, and Malonzo should be in the 2023 WC pool; hell, even in the final 12 for the WC. I cannot state that enough. We will need as many versatile defenders as possible in the pool.

Well he's only on his 2nd year and still young enough. Is Kai worth his big price ? Cause they should pair these 2 long term as they almost the same age.

A good source on condition of anonymity told me SBP are pushing that Jalen green will be the naturalized player for the 2023 world cup.

SBP/FIBA should relocate one of their original WC game venues at Davao's King Dome.... Aside that the venue will be 75k max seating capacity, It will lessen the hassle of some of Gilas and FIBA/NBA fans in the south, particularly Davao, Gen San, Cebu, Zamboanga to travel to Manila to watch the games.. There are already Araneta and MOA from Manila, then PHL Arena from North.. then perfect location from the South to watch the games live....

For sure he's in for 2027 WC (If qualifies), but too early for 2023..... He needs more seasoning... But i want him on the seniors team on 2025 FIBA Asia cup.... That is the earliest time he can join in seniors team

Yeah, he does next to Pablo, but he plays 4 next to Gagate amd Demisana.
