Yes I'm glad we won't be sending the cadet team.

Add: it is justifiable to boycott a product that is not of the specifications to the taste of the consumer. it is up to the entertainment provider to adjust accordingly or else, lose that money.Last edited by noyce; 08-04-2022, 11:50 PM.

I dont think we IBNers are OA. If you go to SocMed most PH team followers have the same sentiment. Chot and the SBP have effed it up. It is obvious that SBP and PBA have an agenda beyond PHs international success.
If SBP were really primary concerned with having a good PH bball program, they should have kept Tab and let him have a vacation for one qualifier. They should not have cried foul over players leaving for other countries. These players are still joining the PH team. Actually it is the PBA and the college leagues that are affected. Is SBP the spokeperson of the commercial and college leagues now? All the reasons they gave for firing Tab have turn out to be BS and have nothing to do with the PH bball program. It is all about taking care of the local leagues and making them happy.

Originally posted by robert0326For me i guess this will be Chot's line up for 2023:
Kiefer (B-League) - Most experienced International PG Filipino player
Scottie (PBA) - With SMC/Al Chua already there, he is one of SMC's best bet to play Gilas
Parks (B-League) - Good complimentary off the bench, can play 1 to 3 spot
Ramos (B-League) - Good all around guard, best off guard in Philippines today
Clarkson (NBA) - Our franchise player indeed
Malonzo (PBA) - Best wing in the PBA today, hoping his defense is like Navarro too
Oftana (PBA) - Designated wing shooter
Tamayo (UAAP) - Probably best forward today in the Philippines
Edu (US NCAA) - Very needed his position indeed, he will replace Kouame's spot if Clarkson as NP
Fajardo (PBA) - Best big out of PBA today
Kai Sotto (NBL) - Very needed his position too, same as Edu
Quiambao (UAAP) - Maybe a biggest choice if he or Japeth or if Edu is not healthy enough then he will be shoo in
Reserves:
Japeth A. (PBA) - He would be the 13th man of this team
Thirdy R. (B-League) - If he can't improve his shooting then no way he will get the spot for 2023
Perez (PBA) - Unlucky for him as his position is very loaded
Going with my the 9:1:1:1 ratio, its going to be like this:
PBA:
Iskati
CJ
Aguilar
JMF
Oftana
Malonzo
Newsome
Troy
Pogoy
NBA:
JC
NBL:
Kai
BLeague:
Dwight
Somehow the PBA PR machine will concoct stories about Balti, Tamayo, AJ and the KBL boys not being available and/or are injured
