With the way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if Tab's boys will decline Gilas invites moving forward.

i wont be surprised either but the ones with existing overseas contract would likely do that. those who are playing in college and PBA might be hesitant and thats understandable.
im actually wondering what will happen if this becomes even bigger that FIBA would go, we wont ban you but we are removing your hosting rights and your spot in WC. what will SBP do if that happens.

From what I've read they're building the team around JC which is stupid because that's years of practice and development down the drain for a guy who's availability and eligibility isn't even clear. So the past games up to this point don't mean squat since it will be a different team that we would field in starting next window.

Boysie Zamar has promised a championship, no less, with a roster comprising the likes of Nino Canaleta and pro veterans Chris Cantonjos, Ricky Calimag, Ruben de la Rosa and Chito Victolero. Obviously, it’s not a developmental team because several players are journeymen. It’s a team that was formed to salvage BAP pride, nothing else.

They simply got lazy after acquiring the hosting rights for the WC2023. They didn't care about building a strong team for the tournament. It was always about a quick cash grab.

Why do you think they want to push for Clarkson? It's because it draws more viewers.

Unfortunately he can't... He's not on the inner circle inside... Look at when he said about the state of PHL coaching? Many reacting including BCAP, Al Chua's circle of friends, Chot, Yeng and others... Tab has no connections (or atleast he has MVP) to be his side... So much better if he stays silent...

too bad the pandemic happened which crippled MPIC finances, now they're operating SBP on a loss, its like Brazil hosting the Olympics and the World Cup in succession.
