Ok , I've given up , this will be a rant, but a highly informed one, yes I've spoken to almost all the personalities, (2 kiwi coaches, manager , other Gilas assistant coaches so this has basis )
Facts
1. Being unavailable to coach a window (2nd or 3rd window) is not a deal breaker or reason to not be able to keep the program director role and potentially coach future window

2. SBP conveniently accepted Tab's forced resignation yet did not accept Chot's resignation, so who is obviously making the decision on who is head coach and program director ? Is it Tab's decision, nope ..clearly it is not.

3. There was an all amateur Gilas team that was practicing in Dec 2021, that would be available for February window , if the PBA and sbP allowed them to play ( not true that there was no players available) just not the PBA players that Chot and Sbp wanted , (talo tambak anyway so what's the difference?). Anyway it shows SBP did not want to tank for 2nd window. (Yet what happened in 3rd window, they were OK with tanking with a different Bald kiwi cosch)

4. Vargas and All Panlilio openly blamed Tab for the exodus of Gilas players to foreign league (motive for not liking him and decision to force him to resign clear )

5. The SBP turned it's back on players who were available and eligible to play in 3rd window to reinforce team. (Basically tanked against the wishes of the head coach for players (bigs)

6. The son of the program director coincidentally is only the batsnf Gilas coach when his father is in position. When he's not, someone else is assigned .. (again who's decision is this really? It's not true no one else is available, like no choice raw)

Not only did Panlilio pass the buck, he also burnt bridges with Tab. Other foreign coaches would probably be also turned off with the way SBP treated Tab. Wouldn't be surprised if Nenad would leave as well.

Basing on this part of the story alone. To some only one window, that exactly is the issue. One window because he didn't have a team he will prefer Ateneo. Is Ateneo a more priority than National team. If a player quits on a team will that be ok. No. That is why we don't like UAAP teams because they want their players to play in their team rather than NT duties.

People here are still so biased towards Tab that they fail to see or even consider that there may very well be a side of the story that they do not know about. Low-key Pinoys showing their colonial mentality in here hehe.

I never want to be a cult follower of any person. Not Chot, not CTAb, not MVP or SMC. We should always be critical thinking.

Personally if a PM is in a IT project then quits when things when south. Goes to another project. That to me is also not a good sign of a leader. I dont want a leader that quits or paas his responsibility to others. Its ok if his sick or have a family problems that will affect him. But then took another job, thats not fine with me.

As much as I dont like both sides and as much as I want them both to fight, I dont want Gilas to be used as a pawn in the process. Which is why I wish that after 2023, MVP gives up control of the SBP.

Within the MVP group to be more accurate, Gilas is just a pawn.

Panlilio is just a self-entitled dumb b*tch. I think he really felt at that time that Tab was out of line by not wanting to coach the 2nd qualifiers. Coupled, with his group's anger at the foreign recruited players, he must have thought he had sufficient cover to fire Tab. But Chot did it. As program director he can skip coaching qualifiers. We already got our revenge against Korea 2x. What was there to gain by Tab coaching the 2nd qualifiers, particularly when he just visited his ailing brother. Of course take it for Quinito to not ask what was the difference between Chot and Tab's skipping qualifiers. Why Tab had to be fired for it and it was perfectly acceptable for Chot.

so messy its irritating to follow. cge, SBP has problem with CTB and grabbed on first opportunity to kick him out. fine, i dont agree but it is what it is.

what i dont understand is why look like a crying brat in front of the people, and this is not just local but for everyone who will give a min to read\watch, blaming whoever? it neither makes SBP look like they have control of the situation nor does it make them look good. and more importantly, they are giving CTB a share of the spot light. just say the dude resigned, and just not talk about him. let him fade in obscurity and bask in the limelight. instead, they keep mentioning his name. so people will always look at CTB. and by doing so, people will dig deeper on what happened and there lies the problem. if people investigate more, any dirt on SBP will be exposed, even a little, compounding the obvious team management problem.
i actually stopped reading articles and just look at random post. not bothering opening links. so far, from the little i cared to read, SBP will field a PBA-heavy team for Aug window with hopefully Kai and JC. if we are looking names, then this is understandble. but because the problem SBP is always bringing up is player availability, why arent they say anything about how the Nov and Feb window teams will be created? names are not needed for those, but PBA and collegiate players will most likely be not available then. not saying anything, projects its still a problem and probably no working plan yet.

With the way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if Tab's boys will decline Gilas invites moving forward.
