the roster pic might have been snipped from W Gameplay's video. That's his dream final 15-man roster.

Bringing up fantasy lineups, if the SBP people have only been conscientious in terms of finding ways to circumvent the Hagop Rule, we could be fielding Martin, Clarkson, Harper Jr, Green, and Kouame at the same time. Add Panopio, Baltazar, Tamayo, Abando, Sotto, Fajardo, and the mandatory below 6 ft guard in RJ Abarrientos. Under the right circumstances, this team is a bronze medal contender in the WC hahahaha.

Oh, I see. Anyways, I'd replace Wright with Navarro, Japeth/June Mar with another either Oftana or Lopez, and JC with Ange (unless if we suddenly have a defensive anchor among the locals).

As for the coaches, I'd want to see Goldwin Monteverde and Charles Tiu as well. They're the younger coaches, so we need them to learn and expand their knowledge of the international game, pass it to the other coaches.

                PG: Kiefer, Bolick

Though, I may consider heading for shooting
Putting Ramos at SF,takes away his versatility as a combo guard.

not really clarkson parks and thirdy the guys you mentioned as sg can play 1 and 3 also they are interchangeable as longa s you dont put dwight ray or thirdy at 3 (unless your chot reyes) then it is good even against the likes of dominican republic
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
                  1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

I see no problem with Ramos at 3 & Clarkson at 2.

Between the 2 players, Clarkson is quicker & more athletic so I'll put him at the 2-guard spot & Ramos as small forward. Of course, Ramos can play as a 2 as well.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Ramos is right now, pretty much the defacto 3rd PG when they go big,so he can play with Clarkson on 2.

the SF slot should be locked w/ Jaime Malonzo (Balti as backup) if he's indeed eligible, Heading,Parks,Ramos & Clarkson can all alternate the 1-2

Looking at the line ups, our Gilas is really short at the PF slot

Tamayo 6'7" (probably the best PF in this batch)
                          Baltazar 6'8"
                          Rosario 6'6"
                          Erram 6''8"

They are all good offensive players and are stretch fours as they have decent or above average mid range game, But we really need height in that spot, maybe a 6'8" - 6'11" athletic player who can do all the dirty work, like rebounding, good on defense, quick to recover, good on switches(yung hindi maiiwanan) and off course a decent outside game, someone in the mold of former PBA import Chris McCollough or those Middle Eastern PFs

I think in the current batch I can only put AJ Edu on this list.

I was hoping for 6'9 Raven Cortez to be that player but since having the injury, I have not heard much from him. He has the potential to be an elite shot blocker and defender as he's pretty quick for his size.

                            • Adding coach Tim in the Banana boat ride in preparation for the coming WC 2023 may not be pleasing to some of us because of his lack of experience as far as FIBA basketball are concerns and we all know that he ain’t the typical long term development coach but a guy who rely mostly on finish product(s). Well we cannot do anything about it, the PD for Men and Boys is DDO Sr. who is really a corporate minded dude but at same time moonlighting as a basketball coach as well. In fairness to CTC, he had glowing credentials as far as local level are concern hence a future hall of famer and as per his latest interview, he already let go his triangle offense 5 years ago and now implementing the so called “Continuity” for BGSM which I think is solid system moving forward, but unfortunately as I’ve watching several PBA games nowadays including the Barangay just to sneak peek CTC’s new pet system, I am very saddened that the art of the so-called 3 point shooting is now a dying culture hence seeing those 3 PT. % amongst the teams including the Barangay is not a good sign really. Anyway back to CTC, aside from his new pet system, he has also an eye for recruiting good quality import the likes of Sean Chambers, Devin Davies and Justine Brownlee to name a few, therefore I think those qualities are needed if the purpose is to sprinkle a few variety(coming from CTC) on that much maligned Do or Die Offense just to tweak something the way CNV are doing with his motion offense with several layers and options just to make the defense guessing all the time and somehow avoid too many hero ball sequence then that’s okay with me and also we could use CTC’s flare in spotting a good candidate for our future naturalize guy(s). Even though I am not totally agree with the PBA to allow him to be part of the Summer League while the conference are still on-going, well what can you expect from that league nowadays..too much anarchy and very toxic.
