JC is still a NP and too short for our needs. Atleast, Harper is harboring 6'6-6'7 so the length is there.

I prefer Kouame as the alternate NP since he is the only one available with size.

Navarro will provide additional length in the perimeter. we need his defense there.

LeBron, if we want a position-less basketball game, he is an ideal player for that due to his length and athleticism.

We don't need Scottie's presence. At 6'1, his rebounding prowess is kind of inpressive but can he do that against the likes of Giannis, Gobert, Valanciunas, and Sabonis?
Good choices na rin. Better to go for versatility and length.

An all pro team almost lost to Thailand. If we didn't have possibly the greatest PBA player of all time malamang natambakan pa tayo..

The fact that we've produced zero NBA players locally has always been the sign of our weakness. Expecting something world class from less than world class talent will always lead to disappointment.

Chot’s teams really suck without Castro or Blatche to bail us out.

                Welcome back.

But to be fair to him, he experimented with a system. There were breakdowns, but at least there was some semblance of an offensive system.

It was the defense I was concerned about. Thailand shot poorly, but we left them open on threes, and missed a lot of defensive rotations. Oh, my.

To be fair that was against 3 Thai-ams and one NP. So talentwise their perimeter players are better than us. Even our best perimter players, Thirdy and Kiefer failed to close the game by missing their FTs.

Yeah we're not world class yet. IMO Kib, Pogoy and Go need to be upgraded. Wright is still 50 50 because he contributed a bit more. Troy should be replaced by Balti eventually.

Yup need to improved that. Watch out for the Vietfors and Indofors.

                    • Yeah the Thai NP point guard is at least a pedigree higher than Kiefer and pedrigrees higher than Kib. Four year starter at Arizona State and current G Leaguer.

Well we also have some Fil foreigners , 2 of them played ok not great and 1 probably would only see some minutes if were up big. We don't have anNP because Chot doesn't trust our NP even against these lowly SEA teams and would rather run poor Junemar to the ground.

Well Wright should contribute more since we're playing against SEA teams. But against tougher teams I'm not expecting much.

Its not about Fil Fors, its about FIBA eligibility. If we are talking about 2023, as long as these Thais are ineligible then we have little to worry about in terms of FIBA. Now if someone like Holder is eligible, we might have some problems as weve seen.

                            Thanks. Was busy with life.

If we don’t improve our chemistry in this tournament, NZ and Lebanon are gonna fucking tear us apart in the Asia Cup.

                            Hello 6-9th place finish.

Whole different lineup. BLeague guys, UAAP guys, Kouame, probably Navarro plus Arana, Mamuyac, Javi and Shaun Ildefonso from the recent draft. Maybe Caelum Harris or Lebron Lopez plus whoever is an U17 standout. Im not sure if Chot will coach or willl he focus on TNT.

Personally Id call up Roosevelt Adams, lets see if he is eligible once and for all.

                                That’s what worries me.

The team going into the Asia Cup may drastically be different from this one, so chemistry will suffer once more. Not to mention the PBA scheduling their season less than a month before the tournament begins.
