The solution pre pandemic is have a full time team ( suerye and company to be supplanted by pba guys from one to two team ( sila na lang bibigyan ng 2 week plus break to not disrupt ty calendar and for us to have a schedule like we had in chito salud era.
I think magagawa na nila yun given that parang open na sila to have everyday games..To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

Originally posted by JAMSKIE View PostThe problem with coach Tab & PBA people is that they have a contrasting view in terms of national team formation.
PBA puts too much emphasis on talent while not putting enough importance on quality of preparation & cohesion/chemistry. Coach Tab's view is the complete reversed.
Well, its obvious naman which view is the flawed one.
PBA's goal is to increase their viewership. Of course, if PBA players are the stars of the national team, they can increase their viewership. However, they want to do this not at the expense of sacrificing their games. So, the best option for them is to lend their players at a very limited amount of time.
The reason that they allowed an all amateur team to play for this 3rd round of qualifiers is that they thought that Gilas will not win anyway against Korea (even if they put PBA players). However, this backfired on them.

If Team USA loses this Olympics, ewan ko na lang kung matiis pa nila na mapahiya sila sa world stage.

No need for Quiambao,Ildefonso is a better fit, since Baltazar can easily step on the 4 spot if AJ gets in foul trouble,a much improve Kobe P or a mature Lebron L,is definitely needed in the lineup.Dalph definitely should be in one of the PG position but a scoring type PG is needed for his backup.

I say a Kobe P. with improved ball handling, shooting & defense would be the kind of player we want to see wearing a Gilas jersey."A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Kobe is coachable as long as he's far from the showbiz friends, then there's no distraction when he's back in town.

Originally posted by Bonifacio View PostThat's exactly the point. It is because of his experience in the second window with Tab where he played a role player position where he is not really comfortable and which resulted in a poor showing from him. I don't think he would want to experience the same thing again if he plays for Tab again.
