Because he's not attained some other training aspects aside basketball.. Footwork it his main weaknesses.. Hoping that he should join some UP men's football training to gain some techniques in footwork..

I know Troy isn't that skilled ( ball handling, post moves wala etc- he's not a baller) but one thing going for him over a Tamayo is he seems more athletic ( i think he played volleyball?) , on the reverse side that's the problem with Tamayo , he looks slow , yes he's got handles and moves but at his height ( 6' 7 ish) lacks the activity required to chase players in the perimeter in this modern day game

He stated before that just started at age 15. Imagine if he played basketball at earlier age, he could be more than what he is today.

The main problem is what coaches telling them, they will follow.. If they tell defend the paint and grab rebounds eh ganun talaga.. with Bo as caoch, I don't think he will improve too much.. If he accpets overseas offer before eh he will be as good as Kai Sotto now..

When I meant footwork I meant though more for offense, defensively it’s different but offensively Tamayo footwork in the post is nice

Here majority is baskeball, maybe some volleyball, but others are meh!!!If we look at most popular sports in the Philippines, Basketball, Volleyball, Boxing are top 3.. (Question for me is volleyball already surpass boxing as no.2 sport?),Football/soccer here could be no.4 or 5, depending on what is the popularity now of billiards as of today.. When Efren Bata Reyes prime, Billiards are no.2 sport (Pre Manny Pacquiao era).. But now billiards are in all-time low in terms of popularity..

So people just play basketball and volleyball during gym? The curriculum out in Canada we played many different sports during physical education classes even obscure sports no one has heard of like Tchouk ball was taught. Variety would help kids develop different skills and find out what they are good at

Same lang Tayo except that baltazar.. I don't know if he's considering gilas, but I think junmar will be there.. sentimental favorite Kasi sya eh.. baka magwala buong basketball community if he's not there.. a PBA GOAT is not in the final line up? That's why for me he is the next RDO clone, I see some similarities between them.. I hope he shouldn't finish his full term in UP and go outside the country.. Wala talaga ako tiwala kay Bo as his coach... sayang potential if he's in the wrong person..

Perasol will allow him to play outside.

And yes, I hope he can consider going outside the Philippines. If he's good enough after a couple years, he has to consider exploring other options. Plus, I wouldn't wanna leave the other players to just go to waste in Team Balara.
