A ganoon?? O di malas na lang. Never runs out of excuses here. It is a conclusion by the way. The video is the evidence.. Or the pinoys can accept what the serbian coach also concluded that the gilas team is a low-quality team.
Also, since the pba team was crushed and landed at the bottom, it is the pba, not the fans, who have the burden of proof in showing they are not cowards or of low quality.
No good team ever lands miserably at the bottom. That again is another solid conclusion, and not an argument.

Just like in Gilas 1; Magi Sison, Jason Ballesteros, Mac Baracael, Rico Maierhoffer, Ogie Menor, Marcy Arellano, Rey Guevarra. Some of the candidates in Gilas 1 that had not a productive PBA career.
The best players talaga is in the PBA. Whether we like it or not.

Wait till this kid gets bulkier.sigpic

They can point out that the midget league cant produce international players because low-grade teams are just playing along with other mediocre teams. Somebody though has to unite the school federations to submit the policy paper requiring the sbp to give the player selection for the nts to major school federations using transparent player selection battles.
The beautiful thing is the President correctly predicted the last gilas will be destroyed in china's world cup. Gilas even embarrassed the president in a live game, where his "i told you so" happened. He would welcome an sbp with ncr, luzon, visayas and mindanao federation reps making the final choices for nt composition, coaches and commercial sponsors.
This big school federation can even ask the senate to investigate the sbp and its conflicts of interest. The senate sports committee will be made aware that the sbp is as bad as the ex-sen trilya's bap. They can also show that the skills of pro players deteriorate matter-of-factly, not improve, because of the incestuous battles by midgets against midgets in a handful of teams. The senate committee can also show that the sbp never adopted a code of good corporate governance as it must , being a public organization. That code would force the sbp to write down formally how national players, coaches, sponsors, and training systems are selected.
The best thing is the president and senate can be convinced by evidence that the sbp violated its mandate by not developing national teams and national players just like the nefarious bap.
It is a slow boring season for the senate sports commitee and digging up mud on the uselessness of the sbp, pba and bcap will be a nice public spectacle.
Oh my youre making it appear like basketball is among the major problems the country is facing right now..........its only basketball........entertainment...relax its not a way of life.....there are more important things than a basketball

Bruh, basketball falls under entertainment,I can't agree to have the people's tax money spent in basketball. You don't live in a Socialist country to use it as a propaganda tool. You already have the masses voting for convicts, corrupt, puppet senators and you want the same bunch to run basketball federations, this would equal into a suspension from FIBA.

Let's see if this proposed school can help in developing our youth team.
A measure providing for a national high school with emphasis on the development of students as athletes has reached the floor of the Senate.
But then, how many of the future prospects would end up in this school instead of the UAAP/NCAA high schools?

I'm afraid not a lot, especially in the beginning. But, it's a good start. Envision something like the Delta Pineda academy but state-backed. That program he has in Pampanga is a good working model, just scale up the recruiting towards the whole nation and get bigger players (and steer the smaller players towards soccer).
Hopefully they can somehow manage to create a program for international-level prospects.
