Facepalm all around, from the parents/family down to whoever registers baby's names. The official probably doesn't know who Hitler is. Sheesh, Hitler's own descendants legally changed their names to get rid of it.

    • as much as possible I don't want to be judgemental on all degree.

but registering odd sounding names, out of this world, over uniqueness kind of a name to those hapless babies out there

are ain't really cool moving forward.

one of the famous line of reasoning to those wacky/odd minded parents, "I want my lad to had a different name that are against the traditional stuff".

      oh dear!! that is why.

I've also heard and stand to be corrected, that the descendants of Napoleon Bonaparte, Oppenheimer the inventor of the first Atomic bomb and The American Ripper are also legally changing

their names because of those obvious historical reason.

on our local scene, my old folks also tell stories of the old days that the family who previously carries the surname "BagongGahasa"

legally changes their names as well because of the same ground.

we all know during the Spanish period many Filipinos esp. to those still living in the hinterlands during those early days

doesn't adhere totally to the "Acts" imposed by the conquistadores.

      • BJ_Reloaded i think the bagonggahasa surname came from the old tagalog term ragasa , along the way the word became the tagalog translation of "r@pe"

Luckily the kid is not attracting scouts through his gameplay. That name alone would scare UAAP and NCAA schools (though if he is a bluechip recruit, boosters could foot the bill for changing his name)

Its one thing to name your sons after celebrities (Mark Gil Belmone and Steve Nash Enriquez ). But naming your kid after a ruthless dictator is just so wrong, I guess his parents are edgelords/chronically online during their pre-teen/teen days.

One way they can turn this into something for him...sell merchandise under his name. He owns copyright to his own name.

We'd be surprised how many lunatics would buy these stuff. Elon Musk just did a nazi salute on live TV.

I still think there's a lot of useful info only found/reported on X, people are still free to lambast/criticize even Elon. I just block the obvious trolls/propaganda.

              • Im not going to go on into specifics but for the uninformed on here do take time to listen on the AI translated speech of the supposed ruthless dictator. And I urge you more to go down that rabbit hole why a certain demographic was kicked out of a 109 countries throughout history and then you will realize who established trans ideology, pornography, usury, income tax and funded multiple major wars lol

                    Sir SK,

                    exactly.

for me personally the best PG that we've produce is still Hector The Director.

even though I've only seen him play during the latter part of his PBA career.

no thanks to those aching here and there

but despite of that you will notice how good an orchestrator he was both offensively and defensively.

"his not forcing the issue, calculated and Calma lang Pre", that's my first impression

no wonder the late idol Skywalker feels good every time he is inside.

internationally, I haven't heard nor watch any international games that he was been schooled out there.

no offense meant to coach Flying A, coach Rara, coach Tinyente, helter skelter, the Blur and coach Mighty Mouse

I think a big part of that is how he received excellent coaching from Ron Jacobs and invaluable experience playing internationally for that NCC team at a young age. That team jumpstarted his career along with other greats like Caidic, Samboy, etc.

Early international experience plus cutting-edge coaching (for that time) gave him a solid foundation.

It's interesting that for several instances now, a foreign coach (Jacobs, Rajko, Tab) has formed a team of amateurs/young players and opted for a different strategy rather than picking the current best. It's either by design or by necessity.

nope, it's Jaworski. Look at John Stockton. That is Jaworski. Same height, skills, court vision, gulang.

I'm not a fan of Jaworski becoz for me he's one of the dirtiest player & among the most unsportsmanlike player in Philippine basketball, but yeah, I have to concede lolo Jawo is perhaps the greatest point guard ever in Phi basketball history. You just can't take away his greatness, charisma & career longevity. When lolo Jawo was around 45 yrs. old, he was still very competitive. Yung ibang players when they reach 35 yrs old, palaos na of laos na talaga. Some couldn't even play pro basketball beyond their mid-30's eh.

Some basketball experts refer to John Stockton as a deceptively dirty player. Well, lolo Jawo was among the dirtiest player to have ever played in the PBA.

The young Jawo up to his prime was a big-bodied 6'1" guard in an era of 5'8" guards and 6'3" centers. He was basically our local version of Luka and averaged almost a triple-double (20-12-9) in one season for Toyota. Prime Jawo was ahead of his time, a PG in a PF body.

Old playing-coach Jawo though was just an intimidator who was given a very long leash. It also demonstrates how allowed physicality can neutralize speed and skill.
