I am still unsure with the pending influx of Filfors. Note that the strict Filfor ruling was because of the influx of Filshams. How are we so sure that our passports cannot be fudged? Clarkson all of a sudden obtained a passport that he supposedly got before he turned 15. Like 10 or 15 years he turned 16? Next thing we know Jalen Green has a Filipino passport. When it seems so easy for 2nd, 3rd or even 4th generation Filors to get Filipino passports when they shouldn't be able to I am afraid that any guy with a smidgen of Filipino descent can obtain a Filipino passport in order to play for the PBA.

However, this will be mitigated by the number of FIBA-eligible Filipinos playing abroad. Stars, current or rising, are attracted by the prospect of playing abroad.

I hope they would decide on establishing a longer conference or even a full regular season. That way, mas makakaattract sila ng mga marquee imports (both world and Asian) at mamamaximize ng mga teams yung capabilities ng mga maha-hire nila.
I think our 6'5"-6'8" centers should be playing PF, ideally, although they can moonlight at center from time-to-time.

Also, remove the height limit for imports. Yes, some imports would play a big position, but with a 1-import limit, our bigs could still play big, sa 4 nga lang, which is actually my preferred position for our bigs.

Actually, I have my wishlist for Asian imports:
Jamshidi
Kazemi
Yakchali
Zhigulin
Ponomarev
Arakji
El Darwich
Ali Haidar
Al-KhafajiLast edited by ja.he; 11-11-2021, 01:18 AM.Attack

But in the contrary, we can identify who among our local homegrown players can go toe to toe with Fil Am Players. The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 5 characters.

Originally posted by Rodbi View PostWe're just gonna have to keep faith with PBA with regards to that. I know they will act prudently as they cannot risk another involvement with eligibility fraud, similar to the early-2000's Fil-sham fiasco. It had a very heavy effect on the public viewership and interest back then, and even up to this day, a certain portion of PBA fanbase is still not too keen on having too many mixed Pinoys or foreigners of Filipino heritage in the league (which sadly is very backwards mindset).
