With regards to imports, they should have raised the height limit of imports to 6'8 if they don't to get rid of such a bullcr*p rule. They are aware that it is hard to get the services of imports since many leagues are now starting their respective seasons.
Yeah, 6'9" even is a good compromise. They're as tall as June Mar and Japeth anyway, and can still play center.

However, there is this argument that teams might not be able to bring in quality imports (save for Brownlee) with these COVID restrictions, and bigger imports are more expensive and harder to find.

Teams need to be given freedom to choose their imports based on their needs. Teams like SMB, Ginebra and Northport will most likely choose a wingman or a guard import due to the presence of Slaughter, Junmar, CStan and Japeth whereas teams like ROS, Alaska, Magnolia and TNT might choose bigmen import since they don't have a dominant big.

Mags have a bit of a dominant big in Sangalang. However, yeah, they do need a taller big to help in rim protection. That taller big might move Sangalang to the 4, where he can be more dominant offensively.

Agree with RoS and Alaska too. They don't have dominant or tall bigs, just serviceable ones.

Another team that could use a tall big is NLEX, who basically share RoS's problem of not having tall bigs.

I think it's time for the PBA to have a one-season format for good. Kahit mas maraming playoff games, wala na masyado nanonood except if Ginebra is playing.

As to imports, I personally think that the whole season should be import-laden, without a height limit. However, like I'd said, the All-Filipino tournament is still considered by the PBA (and plenty of fans) to be the crown jewel of the season, so that will be a hindrance to a full season with imports. These guys will need a lot of convincing.

Semerad says he can now play 2-3-4 with Yeng. Holy crap. Tactically, Yeng's not great, but at development, man, he's up there in the PBA ranks.

This is different right now since he is playing for Ryukyu Golden Kings - one of the best teams in B.League and always a title contender.

Ant had always been a 2/3 guy from his rookie year in San Beda so I was surprised when he was being underutilized as a 3-4 floor stretcher/defender. Then again he played with crocs earlier in his PBA career which might have hurt his confidence. Credit to Yeng for trusting unheralded players and also to Semerad for his willingness to listen and work. Not a lot of players can handle Yeng's style.

It's maybe due to his height and strength. He can guard PBA fours, that's why.

                    Any hope for David?

Despite being shorter by an inch David is less mobile than Anthony. Sad to say he's probably stuck being an undersized 4/5 a la Willy Wilson, Harvey Carey. He's got a very good midrange shot though and can adequately guard players taller than him despite not being very athletic. Best case scenario would be a more muscular Quinahan

Blackwater : A Go to guy type of import (Ala Orlando Johnson type of import) to atleast bring big impact for their team
Alaska : Probably if Mike Harris available then he is the answer for Alaska, If not then they need a import who is similar style of game of him
Terrafirma : A workhorse type of import to compliment Joshua Munzon game (A younger Marcus Blakely type of import)
Phoenix : Probably Eugene Phelps again, They need a banger and a scorer for their team
Ginebra: Alam nyo na yun (Justin Brownlee) kung sino...
NLEX: Same as Terrafirma's need of import
ROS: A scorer type of import, because ROS badly needed a go to guy in scoring
Northport: Probably Micheal Qualls again (2019 Gov's import) who led them make it to semis
SMB: A wing guy that compliment the game of the locals, especially a workhorse type of guy...
Meralco: If Durham is available the he is the answer.. If not then a similar type of game of him..
Magnolia: Romeo Travis is still available? If not then another import who is similar game of him..
TNT: If KJ McDaniels is available then it should be him... He's a good fit for TNT's Chot system...
Hopefully the PBA reconsiders the height limit, and at the very least, raise it to at least 6'9"-6'10". Maybe scrap it altogether.

It should be left to the team to choose the size of their import.

Hope they could consider bringing back the unlimited height import limit. But AFC might disagree.

And try to lure asian imports again. that might be the solution for the PBA to be marketable again.

Ayaw na ng Alaska kay Mike Harris, he also confirmed it. he wanted to be back i think when Jeff Cariaso took the reins. Besides, Matanda na rin si harris.
