likely bolick will head to GSM for tenorio?

Yup same thoughts, SMB still has Romeo and Perez when Cabagnot and Ross retire.

      • still wondering why MVP allowed Bollick, a San Beda stud, to the other empire, usually Metro pacific group exhaust every measure just to keep those Ateneans and Bedans in their camp

I don't know, maybe the SMC and MVP group has an agreement? perhaps Bolick can be lent for Gilas? I would love to see the guy as a PG. it would fix everything in the PG position for short term success. Nice to have him also in case Dwight/Dave's transition will fail. We still have 1GDL and Panopio but having more options is never bad.

i dont think MVP hoardes players from sponsored schools. they hire them when they can but they dont go after them in high heavens.

Maybe they want to but they cannot do so without being too obvious or "garapal" like the other empire is. Also (if I'm correct) he entered PBA when SMC players are readily available due to the Yeng & Long Hair connection.

My personal opinion would be, i think less people anticipated that Parks would enter that 2018 draft given he has NBA aspirations that time and of course, he wanted to play for BGSM and he still his obligations with SMC Alab.

Berto would've been a sure fire no. 2 pick for BW if not for Parks entering...

He is receiving pba pay in alab despite playing only half season thats the thing SMC is confident on rayray (as the top pick in 2020 draft roosevelt adams can be I say be passed on and be given to mvp team)..

Yeah, I saw that. But there's no report, whatsoever regarding that. I like to assume its nothing serious. I hope so.

                      • I can't help but shake my head at this rumor regarding Greg Slaughter being traded to Magnolia for Jackson Corpuz & possibly Jio Jalalon, but it is said that Magnolia coach Chito Victolero feels "panghihinayang" in giving up Jackson Corpuz. Its like Victolero telling Northport, "Pwede ibang player na lang kunin nyo kapalit ni Slaughter, wag lang si Corpuz?" Maybe Victolero wants Rafi Reavis as the player he would give up for Slaughter. Its as if Slaughter is of little value.

This reminds me of what coach Leo Austria said prior to the trade that broght CJ Perez to SMB. Austria implied he is not willing to let go of anybody among Junmar, Lassiter, Cabagnot, Romeo, tautuaa & Santos in exchange for somebody like a Perez. Its as if Perez is of little value. So in the end, SMB got Perez while giving up 3 pieces of garbage. I have a strong feeling ganoon din mangyayari with the Slaughter trade.

This actuations by SMC people strike me as, talagang subrang garapalan na yung mga lop sided trade. Its like every trade that involves SMC teams eh lop sided dapat in favor of them, of course. Siguro if an SMC team involves itself in a "fair" trade, sasampalin sya ni Long Hair kasi mortal sin ang ginawa nya.

                        Garapalan na talaga.

It is what it is man, clown show will indeed continue. Which is why I never watch any PBA game nowadays, unless they are playing against the National team. I only watch PBA breakdowns of games/players instead.

                          • If its not a lop side trade, then its not an SMC trade.

Its like committing rape in a public place where everybody is watching. Ganon na ka garapal ang mga SMC people.

Sad to think that yung liga na pinaka mamahal ko specially during the 90's is now reduced to a shitty & rotten league in which the spirit of sportsmanship, parity & fair play were thrown out of the window. If ever PBA collapses (I hope it will soon), much of the blame goes to Al Chua. Binababoy ni Chual ang integrity ng basketball.

Man the PBA is really disheartening right now. I do hope that they will make major reforms but at this point of time it seems highly unlikely, the SMC show will continue until further notice. The only hope now will be reforms or the success of FilBasket. I really really wish for the success of FilBasket man or I hope that Ramon Ang would take charge and end this shit show.
