I would love to see the guy as a PG. it would fix everything in the PG position for short term success. Nice to have him also in case Dwight/Dave's transition will fail. We still have 1GDL and Panopio but having more options is never bad.

Berto would've been a sure fire no. 2 pick for BW if not for Parks entering...

I can't help but shake my head at this rumor regarding Greg Slaughter being traded to Magnolia for Jackson Corpuz & possibly Jio Jalalon, but it is said that Magnolia coach Chito Victolero feels "panghihinayang" in giving up Jackson Corpuz. Its like Victolero telling Northport, "Pwede ibang player na lang kunin nyo kapalit ni Slaughter, wag lang si Corpuz?" Maybe Victolero wants Rafi Reavis as the player he would give up for Slaughter. Its as if Slaughter is of little value.
This reminds me of what coach Leo Austria said prior to the trade that broght CJ Perez to SMB. Austria implied he is not willing to let go of anybody among Junmar, Lassiter, Cabagnot, Romeo, tautuaa & Santos in exchange for somebody like a Perez. Its as if Perez is of little value. So in the end, SMB got Perez while giving up 3 pieces of garbage. I have a strong feeling ganoon din mangyayari with the Slaughter trade.
This actuations by SMC people strike me as, talagang subrang garapalan na yung mga lop sided trade. Its like every trade that involves SMC teams eh lop sided dapat in favor of them, of course. Siguro if an SMC team involves itself in a "fair" trade, sasampalin sya ni Long Hair kasi mortal sin ang ginawa nya.
Garapalan na talaga."A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. If its not a lop side trade, then its not an SMC trade."A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Sad to think that yung liga na pinaka mamahal ko specially during the 90's is now reduced to a shitty & rotten league in which the spirit of sportsmanship, parity & fair play were thrown out of the window. If ever PBA collapses (I hope it will soon), much of the blame goes to Al Chua.
