I support parks moving to b-league 100%, but sana kung babalik sya sa PBA sa mvp camp parin siya lumaro wag sa sakim na SMC.

Yung worry na Baka hawak na sa leeg ng pba Yung marquee gilas core natin eh if MVP will handle these players eh walang problema.. they will join the draft (might be baltazar and Ramos) then after 1 conference (or atleast a year) eh they can join overseas team.. win win for MVP camp, gilas and the fans..

Blackwater looks like a sure thing, given the talent level of that team. NorthPort and TerraFirma, on the other hand, have talent. I'd actually like for the latter two to compete for a playoff spot. More top picks for independent teams and Blackwater, and less for SMC to farm.

This could be a good idea. They do have a couple 6'6"-6'8" bigs. We're actually OK with developing traditional bigs, kahit undersized. The problem is, will they be played alongside imports when they come, or behind them?

In Japan's Division 1, a lot of their 6'6" local players are actually fours. Either that, or they can at least play the 4.

Either way, at least we can at least get a height standard for 4-men. We've seen 6'2" Abueva and 6'3" Mariano play the 4 (although both are small-ball 4s, really). However, our own 6'6"+ bigs who can play 4 might be deprived of an opportunity to develop.

Yeahp I heard the same, even when he signed for TNT the first time Gilas was never in his sights or ever an interest of his. There's a reason why SEA Games and the one OQT were the only times he played for Gilas. SEA games aren't as high of a risk for injury and OQT was his chance to get noticed by international/nba scouts.

Zero chance Ray would return with the PBA daw and btw for clarity, his release is just for the Bleague but just in case for example he comes back in the pba, TNT still has his rights

Sayang, I just think Parks was highly offended that he was relegated to Gilas team B after the 2016 oqt. I think Chot did that kasi di daw nagrerreach out si Ray na sumali. And there was a time that SBP said that only players that will be considered in Gilas are pba players with Ray responding “If that’s how they are punishing a kid who is just chasing a dream, then so be it etc.” After that tons of excuses na for Ray on joining the Gilas squad.

I mean who would not be offended he should have been always invited and a regular fixture but alas Chotty has his boys:

I just thinking that maybe Parks will be the trading bait to BWE, once they get officially the 1st overall pick.. good performance by Parks in B-League means his value will go high then fans will not doubt of lopsided trade once TNT and BWE will go to another trade (But TNT needs to wait one year to get that pick from BWE, due to 1 year rule from PBA).. Parks = BWE 1st round pick is a fair one already...

That's SMC thinking right there. Hahahahahaha.
