Yes. Greg Slaughter while giving up some pieces of used sanitary napkins
Last time kasi it was CJ Perez while giving up pieces of filthy rags.
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

These kinds of lopsided trades, well, ayun. Typically in the NBA, when teams trade for a star, it's usually not for cash considerations (which are worth only hundreds of thousands of dollars, I think). They're for numerous draft picks. Teams acquiring stars through trades mortgage their future in an attempt to win now.
I think the farm team giving up the star should ask for first round draft picks and a few second rounders for at least 4 of the next 6 years. Of course, this is highly unlikely.
as argued by previous posters, the games should be under FIBA rules. Lol @ PBA piggybacking at Gilas' success
I think it would be better if PBA and SBP people will make that happen. Treat the Gilas games as exhibition games that are FIBA rules and regulations compliant and will absolutely have no effect to each PBA team's W-L record. As has been mentioned here quite a lot of times already, the current NT definitely needs to play more to further improve team cohesion especially if there will be late comers for the NT.

I believe the W L should be counted. Otherwise there is a possiblity PBA teams will just field their benchwarmers

The problem is PBA players treat a exhibition game as no barring game and will not play even 80 %. Look at the PBA vs NBA players before got killed by 30 pts because its a none barring game. While Gilas 1 treated it as a serous game thats why they only lose by 9 pts. Aside of course Gilas has better Chemistry.
Also the game between Gilas 1 vs Powerade team.
It might not help this Gilas team if PBA will not take it seriously.

That's one way of looking at it. For me, if the invitation would be similar to Gilas 1.0's 2010-2011 Commissioner's Cup stint, then by all means. Gilas should a have chance to be crowned champs if that would be the case. I think all teams especially the 3 from SMC would be more than interested to test the young guns' mettle and prove themselves to PBA naysayers as the true top dogs of PH basketball.

Yes, I agree.
I still remember that Gilas-NBA Selection game. There were a lot of times that NBA stars were put in an uncomfortable situations.
