Interbasket and Pex are both out of control.

Especially both forums have a lot of ad hominem and personal attacks.

I'm gonna be honest I'm disappointed with the way posters are acting lately. Most of the posters here are probably older than me yet they post like teenagers. Can't we just all get along while having different opinions?

Have to agree sadly. There’s also blatant disregard of the forum rules, as no one is really enforcing it and forum members are no longer holding each other accountable unlike before. I miss the days when each post was coherent and well thought of.

Maybe because of fanaticism. Blindly following a certain individual or group without acknowledging flaws or shortcomings of the same. This mirrors the general attitude of most Filipinos - we never admit mistakes, failures or shortcomings. We always have a scapegoat to such mishaps.

Me? I just like to find balance. You always look on things you did right but at the same time, you need to always look out on things you missed out or on things you are deficient.

ahh the japeth thread. it has reasons why it has lots of pages talking about him.. it includes his family defending japeth.. too below the belt comments..

MBA did this before, one national champion 2 sub conferences, they have inter conference and inter intra format. After one season it was scrapped. People will understand the 2-3 conference format more, and teams who get the sweep or grandslam is an easy way of getting bragging rights and can easily be told by historians 20 years from now.

NBA should adapt the principle of super cups during their mid season..

As for pba I am against scrapping the third conference but agree on principle that only top 8 or 6 teams will go to play in governors cup and the lower 4 or 6 will play a separate conference where winner get the top pick.. rewarding teams who fall short and not rewarding teams who just tank every season.

It's like the European system. Spain's Cup is the Copa del Rey, which is held in the midseason, wherein the top 4 or 8 teams in the Liga ACB compete.

What if we do the one-tournament format with imports and a triple round robin, and the All-Filipino is held in the midseason, and the top 4 teams can compete?

For me it’s more about specific users than specific threads. It’s just a coincidence that they mostly hang out in the Kai Sotto thread.

I prefer the battle of the champions from the Philippine Cup and Fiesta Cup to determine the Season Champion since it will be less complicated. If a team sweeps both the Philippine Cup and the Fiesta Cup, that team should be declared the Season Champion and no battle of the champions will occur. 3rd conference should be 3x3 which should be definitely not counted altogether with the 5x5 in the championship tally.
