Sobey is pretty strong and athletic and some good touch from deep. Plays physical as well. I think he'll be fit in PBA.

I also hope that they should give a slot for FSA's/Foreign Residents/NP's and another slot for Asian-Pacific players so that players not only from Asia but also players from NZL, AUS, Fiji, Samoa, Guam and Tonga can play.
Well, these are all wishful thinking.Originally posted by Jackie Reaper View PostI have a wishlist:
Oceania:
Mitch Creek
Cameron Gliddon
Sam Froling
Nathan Sobey
Tom Abercrombie
Tai Webster
Corey Webster
Reuben Te Rangi
Ethan Rusbatch
Finn Delaney
Joshua Fox
Marcus Alipate
Earnest Ross
Jonathan Galloway
Asia:
Daiki Tanaka
Makoto Hiejima
Kosuke Kanamaru
Avi Schafer
Leo Vendrame
Kang Sangjae
Choi Junyong
Lee Seunghyun
Behnam Yakchali
Ali Jamshidi
Chanatip Jakrawan
Pathipan Klahan
Chitchai Ananti
Hendrick Yonga
Vishesh Bhriguvanshi
FSA/NP/RF:
Soulmane Chabi Yo
Bright Akhuetie
Angelo Kouame
Just saying. Haha
And teams have to get the concept of role-player imports who don't have to play 40+ minutes per game. Having to get a ball-dominant high-scoring import all the time can stunt the growth of the locals.

The small ball 4 is 6'2"-6'3", 6'4" if you're lucky. Hope the addition of foreigners will force Filipinos to play smaller positions.Attack

PBA is the highest level of pro play in the country, it follows that a player should be exceptional for him to last in the league. The PBA is not for everyone

I agree with your assessment on APAC imports pay, but i think most of them would only accept PBA offers if the conference schedule would not be in conflict with the schedule of the mother leagues they play in. If it does conflict and still they choose PBA, it has gotta be an offer that's very hard refuse.

If in the same class as Mbala, it should be local player max.

Originally posted by CoJ View Postif this would push through, i wonder, should FSA have their own draft or be signed as direct hires like imports? ha ign a fsa draft would de facto create the tiers, the first 3 picks could get the rookie max while the late draftees salary gets smaller in proportion to the number they are drafted
