Yup salary cap won't work in the pba. Teams can say players a salary is 200k, but not included in his package are his game bonuses, championship bonuses, housing, car etc. The rich trams will just focus on that, so if I'm a free agent and an independent team offers me 150k with basic perks and not a good chance to win, while smb/ TNT offers me 80k, but with extreme perks, I'd go with the latter 10/10.

(a) To interfere with, restrain or coerce employees in the exercise of their right to self-organization;
(b) To require as a condition of employment that a person or an employee shall not join a labor organization or shall withdraw from one to which he belongs;
(c) To contract out services or functions being performed by union members when such will interfere with, restrain or coerce employees in the exercise of their right to self-organization;
(d) To initiate, dominate, assist or otherwise interfere with the formation or administration of any labor organization, including the giving of financial or other support to it or its organizers or supporters;
(e) To discriminate in regard to wages, hours of work and other terms and conditions of employment in order to encourage or discourage membership in any labor organization;
(f) To dismiss, discharge or otherwise prejudice or discriminate against an employee for having given or being about to give testimony under this Code;
(g) To violate the duty to bargain collectively as prescribed by this Code;
(h) to pay negotiation or attorney's fees to the union or its officers or agents as part of the settlement of any issue in collective bargaining or any other dispute; or
(i) To violate a collective bargaining agreement.
The most on point is probably violation of a CBA. However, do the PBA players even have a CBA?

Maybe Smc have some hidden bad blood with Rayray too.
But the bottomline is ALL PBA BOARDS/GOVERNORS IN EACH PBA TEAM Have a Gentleman's ageement to ban Rayray.
Lets be honest, Rayray did some mistakes too. But I don't think it deserves a ban.

Okay. Commissioner Marcial said that there's no ban.
Philippine Basketball Association commissioner Willie Marcial emphasized that the league will not impose a ban on TNT guard Bobby Ray Parks, Jr. It has emerged on social media that the league sanctioned son of late great Bobby Parks, a seven-time PBA Best Import, for “acting on bad faith” with his mother team TNT. The four-time PBA MVP spearheaded the creation of a players' union back in the eighties, which they envisioned would look after the welfare of both active and retired players, especially in disputes with mother ballclubs.
The PBA players' association, however, has long been inactive, unlike in the NBA where the union has vast clout and influence when it comes to issues surrounding the players, from contract issues to suspensions.

I'm sure Parks won't lose any sleep over a ban, though if he wants to stir things up he can take the PBA and MVP to court for unfair labor practice, DOLE will have a field day. If I were in Parks shoes even if the league black balls me I'll take them down as well or at least make it very uncomfortable for them by appearing bad in the eyes of the law.
