Then suddenly PBA Commissioner will change the draft rules where it will be a lottery instead of lowest ranking teams automatically getting the top draft picks. Nothing is certain when it's really SMC running the league.

Yeah agreed. As a player, SMC is the place to be. Who cares what the fans and public think of their lopsided trades.

This is the thing, e. Unrestricted FA hasn't become much of a thing. Instead of giving a 7-year period, players should be automatic UFA's upon the expiration of their second contract, much like the NBA.

Well I could understand the frustration especially after giving up assets for him with no guarantee that he's going to resign. But how Parks and MVP handled this is totally unprofessional. They're botj going to lose a lot

both Alaska and BGSM were professional in dealing with Manuel and Greg respectively, no social media posts, no angry tirades etc. They did not even use media to destroy the credibility of Manuel and Greg. They kept all the angst internally, especially Chua. Whereas, MVP, in typical fashion was immature and burned bridges, if I were BRP, im not going back to TNT after what happened, unless of course I get double of what i wanted.

too bad BRP was demonized by the MVP controlled media outfits, as if they are forcing him to sign through bullying, no wonder players wanted to sign with SMC, the MVP group, especially TNT has a toxic environment

The problem with what MVP did is not only did he burn bridges for his PBA teams, he burned bridges for Gilas.

I would rather see Parks playing in Japan's B-league or elsewhere than him playing for any of the evil empire teams in the PBA. Nevertheless, it looks like Parks will end up in SMC. Wala na tayong magagawa doon. I just hope when he goes to any of the SMC teams, Parks doesn't change. It would even be better if he gets worse. Hope he messes up everything in whichever SMC team he goes.
